Boy Do I Love This Flat Iron? Why Yes, I Do!I was eye balling this flat iron for quite some time because of the reviews, but already had one so I hesitated to spend the extra cash. Folica ran a special.... I spent either $75 or $100 on things I needed and this flat iron was my free gift! Whether free or $100, this is a 5 star flat iron for a 5 star chick with big, wavy, frizzy hair, like myself! Ladies I adore this thing, and I know you will too. Its good for all hair types. A Must-have!I just received my Solia today & I am extremely happy with the results.
I have never used anything other than Chi until my pocketbook got tired of replacing them all the time. I went through 3 Chi straighteners in the past two years. Not fun.
I decided to go w/ the Solia based on the number of reviews & how well everyone seemed to like it.
Folica sent my order within two days, which deserves 5 stars in itself. Awesome customer service (Thanks Folica!!)
I love how my Solia glides like butter through my hair & does not snag.
My flyaways are under control and my hair has stayed straight all day.
I do not regret buying this product.
PS - I received a sample of Crack leave-in hair cream w/ my Solia. Check it out.The name speaks for itself. I plan on buying a bottle SOON!

Worth Saving Up ForSo I've been searching for a really nice flat iron that will straighten out my hair really well. I usually use the Andis flat iron, but it makes my hair straight only for an hour then it's fuzzy the rest of the time. I knew I had to pay over $100 for a really good one, however, I came across this Solia ceramic flat iron for only $79.99, and decided to try it out based upon all the review and before/after pictures. Once I got it, I tried it out and loved it. In my opinion though, I think this flat iron is only good for natural curly hair and not coarse hair. My daughter has coarse brittle type hair and I've tried it on her and it didn't do so well. It might work better for her if I relaxed her hair first then flat iron it.

Thich Wavy Hair To Straight Luxurious Locks Of Silk Like Hair!I bought my first one in 2008 and it was the best flat iron I have ever had! I had used drug store kinds for the longest and after I got a job I decided to research what I can get for an affordable price. After "google-ing" the day away I came across this site and thanked the heavens I found a flat iron that had great reviews and best of all GREAT PRICE!! Sad to say that today I was straightening my hair and dropped it really hard on my dresser. The plates totally popped out! On the other hand it broke on the right day because there was a great sale on the website for 20% off! So I bought me another one of these puppies and a Sedu clipless curling iron. So it was roughly around $135! Great deal, plus I got a free heat protective case to go with both of them. I take pride in my pockets and hair :) Follow me @monykinns

The Magic Wand For Curly Hair!This straightener is AMAZING! I have very curly hair and use my Solia straightener often. It makes my hair smooth and sleek, even in the south Louisiana heat and humidity, and it doesn't do a lot of damage to my hair. It's also very durable. I had my first Solia straightener for four and a half years and it worked just like the first time, everytime. The only reason mine broke and I am ordering another is because I dropped it! Awesome For Making Waves And Curls Too!I've been using this for almost two years now and absolutely love it! This is the first flat iron I have owned, so I can't compare it to any other products. I have hair with just enough curl in it to make it frizzy. I usually let my hair air dry (sometimes I blow-dry) and then use the flat iron to make big loose curls. I start at the root, flatten the first 2-3" and then wrap the rest of the hair around and slowly go down the hair, picking up speed until the ends barely get any heat. It makes nice lose curls/waves without making them too tight or bouncy. This iron can also easily make tight curls if that's what you're looking for though. Oh and, I also love the auto shutoff....only happened once since I'm pretty cautious and always unplug it when I'm done, but it definitely works!posted Sep 14, 2011Link to this post
