Awesome!i got one yesterday i love it i had a chi before it was okay. but i only had it for a few months and the switch broke off. so i got a Solia and its pink doesnt get any better :) it makes my hair so soft and shiny! and it doesnt fizz up anymore. Amazing Iron... I Am In Love.Okay, so I was blessed enough to win this iron while following @folica on Twitter. Although I was super excited about it, I didnt have to worry about writing an objective review because this iron is fabulous!Pros: Heats up super quickly ( < 30 seconds ); love the color, so girly; never pulls hair; straightens perfectly in two swipes; no crispy, fried ends; long cord.Cons: None so far! This iron is absolutely wonderful! I have super unruly, natural curls that are high maintenance. I love straightening my hair, and with this iron, it *stays* straight! It will kink up if Im caught in the rain, but otherwise it wont curl again until I shampoo it.Thank you Soila & Folica for this great gift!PS: Products are just as important as your iron! If your hair wont stay straight in humidity, try using a different or better product(s) geared toward anti-humidity.

Wonderful!I recently bought this solia flat iron to replace a Chi I had previously that was getting pretty old. I must say, it is MUCH better. My hair is mildly curly and very fine, so straightening was never the issue... but shine was. The tourmaline in this flat iron leaves my hair looking totally shiny and beautiful. Also, my hair has been lifted about 6 or 7 levels and most flat irons make it look dry... This one did a beautiful job. At this price, you simply cant beat it. See picture below:

Very Decent!I just received this flat iron about 2 days ago and I bought the biosilk heat protectant. For any flat iron purchase, buy this stuff and use a small amount. I owned a Sedu previously and I absolutely LOVED it. The heating element was going on it. I had to twist the cord a certain way to get it to stay on. Its just about 2 years old so its time to put it to rest. The Solia is a very decent iron. I admit, it doesnt glide as smoothly as other irons but it gets the job done! Plus, its PINK! If you want a lower cost flat iron that works just as well as the more expensive irons, then this is a great product to try! The ceramic plates dont pull my hair and within two strokes my strands are straight (I have stubborn wavy hair). Definitely an excellent product!! Great job Solia!posted Mar 9, 2009Link to this post

Great Product For The PriceI have had this straightener for about a year now and it has just started to break down only b/c I decided yesterday to clean it and by doing so, retarded me, I decided to run it under water! It was working perfectly before. Heats up very very fast, perfect when youre in a rush to get ready for classes! I recommend this to anyone. Pretty Color, But Short LifeWhen I first used this a few years ago, it was awesome. It straightened my hair fast and no damage. But, the power light was blinking for a while now it turns off and on when it feels like. I would rather spend a bit more on a flat iron than buy something cute.
