Best Flat Iron I Have Used!!!I have had this flat iron for 6 months and it has exceeded my expectations! I have thick hair with very stubborn waves that I have not been able to completely straighten with my previous flat irons. This iron straightens my hair in just one pass with the heat set at only 340 degrees, and my hair stays straight all day! The Sedu Revolution was priced a bit higher than I originally wanted to spend, but it was worth every penny. It leaves my hair pin straight, smooth, silky, and so shiny....I love it! It heats up in less than 1 minute (you can tell when the led light turns purple) and the automatic thermostat maintains even heat throughout styling. I was also impressed by the quality of the materials; the outer portion is metal instead of plastic so it is very durable. I got the pink color and just love it! This Straightner Literally Melted!I had the worst experience with this straightener. It slowly overheated as I was straightning out my hair so it burned about half of my hair. I walked away for about 5 minutes and when I came back the plastic on the straightener had literally melted off! Its been about 4 months and my hair is STILL damaged. Sedu Styling Iron 1"Received the Sedu Styling Iron 1"..heats up really fast and did the job as the other reviews have stated. I have very thick hair and I did have to set it on almost the highest setting to get results. Living in Florida, your hair gets frizzy even on the best of days and this iron did the trick. I only use this when I go out or getting company as the iron is very hot and I have to use the "almost highest settings" and I don't want to damage my hair any more then it already is.posted Last weekLink to this post -

Not As Good As I Was Expecting It!I have to run my hair at least 4 times and really slowly AND press really hard (burning my fingers) to have an OK result...it is still puffy and no shine to it! Best Straightener!!!My hair is: light brown, frizzy/wavy, thick, should-length. I bought this straightener after doing much research because my Chi was breaking my hair off. I absolutely LOVE this straightener! I have to section my hair off while I straighten because it is so thick but it is way better than any other straightener I have ever thought about using. I have had problems in the last that there would be a burnt smell but I have never had that happen with this one. I would definitely recommend it to someone with thick, wavy hair because it really gets the job done. I always get compliments on how shiny my hair is now. Great product. I Love Sedu!!I have naturally curly, fine, color treated, dark, shoulder length hair that I wash, blow dry and flat iron EVERYDAY!! I stumbled upon Sedu Flat Irons about 10 years ago when I was looking for something to help my fried and damaged hair. I have tried many brands from cheap to expensive (Conair, Solia, Hot Tools and Paul Mitchell). Sedu should be in a class of its own!! There is no comparision in this iron and any other on the market!! IMy mom and sister, who are hair junkies, have both switched to this Sedu Flat iron! We all 3 have very different hair and the same flat iron is great for all of our hair types! It doesn't damage your ends and keeps your hair looking shiny! I can't say enough wonderful things about the Sedu brand!! I love this flat iron and will remain a faithful user! I was just as pleased with Folica! They have always had the best prices on these irons and that is actually how I became introduced to this site! Awesome Compared To ChiI definitely love this straightener. I have always used a Chi and this works a lot better. I have medium-length highlighted blonde hair, but my natural color is pretty dark brown so my hair is fairly damaged. Straightening it with this did not make it look any more damaged at all and definitely made it very shiny. My hair was still looking good by day three, even after putting it up in a bun for a day. It also didn't make my hair/ends feel/look 'stiff'...which probably isn't the right word, but it just never looked very 'natural' when using my Chi. My boyfriend even commented "Your hair looks REALLY shiny, it used to look shiny with your old straightener but it looks a lot better now." So, yeah. I can't compare to other flat irons, but compared to my chi and just in general, this straightener is really awesome.posted May 3, 2012Link to this post

Best Flat Iron I Have Ever OwnedI got this flat iron within 3 days of placing the order. I had to use it as soon as I got it because I was so excited. In the past I have own a conair flat iron that use to snag my hair, hot tools flat iron that just fried my hair, Remington Teflon flat iron that had a horrible smell, and a chi flat iron that lasted 4 years which was the best out of all my flat irons before I got the sedu.
I have shoulder length wavy hair, my waves are extremely stubborn. . This flat iron glides through my hair so easily and I only need to run it through a section twice. It doesn't pull my hair and it makes it pin straight. Also it makes wonderful curls/waves for 2 days.
My only problem I have is very small which is that it's a little heavy but now I'm use to it. My old flat irons were very lightweight l.
Overall I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Oh and I forgot, to flat iron my hair usually takes about 50 minutes to an hour, with the sedu it only take 35 minutes. It
