AwkwardI found this little guy to be hard to hold. Its small so it gets the little hairs well, but I dont think its worth the effort. I found that my solia dryer reduced frizz so much that I had no need for touch up with the mini iron. Not As Bad As I Was ExpectingBased on the reviews, had I not received this flat iron as a free promotional gift I would have never purchased it. However, the flat iron turned out to work better than I expected. My daughter was the first to use it. Her hair is curly but easy to straighten. She used it on her bangs and said she loved it.
My hair strands are fine but I have a lot of it so it's thick, semi-coarse and curly after I wash. I always blow dry my hair using a comb attachment prior to flat ironing. I also use coconut oil to moisturize, protect and even combat humidity while heat styling my hair. I used the mini on my bangs and edges/baby hair and it did really well. I typically will use a hot comb to get my edges but this mini iron does the job so that's a definite plus. I only gave it 4 stars because I can't use the iron to straighten all of my hair therefore I took one star away for lack of purpose.posted Nov 24, 2010Link to this post -

Great For Super Short Hair, Otherwise Useless!I probably wont ever use this. It is very very small, about the size of a dinner fork. I got it for free when buying a larger sedu flat iron. I M Disappointed!Having heard so many great things about Sedu, I was excited to try this iron. In my opinion, this one is worser than Solia and Chi. I have black, healthy, Indian hair and it is usually easy to straighten. However this one was tugging my hair all the time. The plastic on the other side of the plates got really hot, so it was difficult to hold the iron. And it didnt really add any shine! A Great Gift For My Wife S B'dayFirst I would like to say about the product itself. My wife was was looking for Chi when I did research of my own and purchased SEDU as Gift for her B'Day -
as said by my wife --
The product is simply great
Straightens hair more easily than some other brand
Hair didn't look damaged ( as used to be before) I guess because of excessive heat

Original Package shipped on time and in great condition.
When I got the package I found that it didn't include free gift - smaller Sedu. Going back to the Sedu Site I found that I had to enter the Coupon Code to get it (I was of opinion that it would be included automatically). I called Customer Service told them what had happened and they told me they will immd. ship it ( which I received in 3 days later). They were very courteous and didn't try to play around. The customer service was simply superb

Teeenie Tiny But PowerfulThis is a LOT smaller than I thought it would be, but it dose a good job on smaller pieces of hair. I have really thick, course hair and it works well on my bangs and that's about it. The heat resistant bag is great for toting it around.
