In Love!!!!!!!First I would like to start by saying it was a pleasure doing Business with Folica. My order was shipped super fast and package very securely. I am of mixed race and have hair that is hard to manage on my own. Its super curly and nice when wet but when it dries.......I have an afro to rival the Jackson 5. My hair gets dry and not only tangles but gets matted because I have relaxed and dyed my hair. Honestly speaking I just keep it in a bun all the time because I dont know what else to do with it. When I received this flat iron I immediately put it to use. Can I just say HEAVEN!!!!!!. I washed my hair with Pantene shampoo and conditioner, detangled and let it air dry. After which I blow dried. I parted my hair into 4 sections and went section by section with the iron starting from the back. I only had to pass over the hair in the iron 2X and it was Bone Straight. I used the C.H.I silk infusion after I completed my hair.The results were so drastic, my boyfriend wanted to give it a try.(He did the back of my hair).I was not only happy with my purchase but AMAZED!!!I HATE going to the salon because it is so time consuming. With this iron I dont need to.I now have straight hair with movement. I am one satisfied customer and will be purchasing from Sedu AND Folica again in the near future. Not As Good As Hoped ForMy T3 flat iron broke and since they don't make that particular model anymore, after reading the reviews on the Sedu, I thought I would try it. When I used the T3 my hair felt like silk, with this iron it does straighten my fine, wavy hair, but it does not have the same shine and silkiness I got with the T3. I'll keep it, but will find another brand next time. Don't know if the color of the plates make a difference but the T3 had yellow plates that were very smoooth. So Far So GoodI have only had my flat iron about a week but so far so good. I have fine color treated hair that needs gentle treatment. So after reading all the reviews I decided to give this one a try and it's working great. I love the temp control options, it's lightweight and easy to handle, and it glides over my hair smoothly without snagging. Even on the lowest setting it did a great job on my hair. I also like the idea of the warranty folica offers too, because when you are gonna invest this kind of money in hair tools it's nice to know you have some kind of warranty just in case something goes wrong.posted Feb 3, 2011Link to this post -

This Flat Iron Was Terrible!!!!!I purchased this flat iron after reading the rave reviews. I was totally dissappointed. I am returning it ASAP. It never made my hair completely straight. It also dried my hair out, causing damage. My hair is always soft after I wash and flat it; however, this iron made my hair feel rough and brittle. I was displeased after the 1st use, but I wanted to give it another try. So, I used it a 2nd time and it was worse. I am going to try the Babalyiss next. Absolutely The Best Hair Straightner!!!Ive had my Sedu for a year now and I really love it. I have very frizzy thick hair which usually requires a lot of heat to get straight but this hair straightener changed my life! The plates glides so perfectly which leaves the hair soft not stuck together. I have very thick ethnic hair and after I blow dry my hair, all i need is a protectant spray and my Sedu and my hair looks so shiny and smooth. It only takes me 5 minutes in the morning to get my hair straight. It's very light so it's easy to manipulate to create nice curls. What A Disappointment! :(I had never used a good flat iron until I purchased a Sedu! It was such a huge difference in comparison to the drug store brands!! I was very impressed with the way that it straightened my hair! Unfortunately, it shorted out after the warrabty was up, so I immediately purchased a second one since I loved the way it straightened my hair! Guess what??? It did the same thing and shorted out right after the warranty was up! I decided that I would try a different brand the third time!! I have recently purchased the Chi Ultra with Tormaline plates and could not be happier!! It straightens my hair so much better and adds such a nice shine! My hair is still straight the next morning and with the Sedu, it was frizzy the next day! The best part about it is that unlike the Sedu, it has a one year warranty, but also has a lifetime replacement warranty for just $35!!! That is a huge selling point to me!! In addition, I paid about $120 for both of my Sedu flat irons, and got this one for $73!! You just cannot go wrong with this purchase!!!! Not All Thatits ok... but I have ethnic hair so i usually crank it to 400 or higher to get my hair straight.. anyway it gets really hot and if u want to u know touch the outside to get that extra curl u know u can end up burning yourself it serves it purpose for now but I'm already thinking bout getting a new 1....posted Jan 28, 2011Link to this post

Does Not Curl!I love the Sedu line and bought this particular curling iron based on the reviews and because it was on sale. There should be a disclaimer in the description that specifically states that this is a straightener and does not curl hair. This is the only reason why I returned it. If you want to stick with the Sedu line, then purchase the Revolution.
