My Hair Is Actually Healthier Now!I have used my flat iron about 4 times since I have gotten it. It does make my hair shiny and soft and glides through so easily. The first time I glided it through my hair I thought it wasn't even going through because it was so smooth. I love the fact that the cord is so long and i dont think that it not being a swivel cord matters at all. Overall i really love this product. Even though my hair could look about the same if I used a cheaper flat iron there is a HUGE difference in how healthy my hair feels. I barely have any breakage anymore. I can use a lower heat setting with the Sedu and my hair still stays straight longer I used to flat iron every day but now I don't have to if I don't want to. . Even after putting it in a pony tail and taking it out I don't get a crimp in my hair it is still perfectly straight. Not All They're Talked Up To BeI had this flat iron for maybe a year give or take a few months. It blew out while I was in the middle of doing someones hair. I have had my J Beverly Hills for way longer and those still work fine.
Also, they were nice on to the hair but did not have an adjustable temperature. They felt light, but cheaply light.

A MiracleI've been wearing my hair natural for over four years and I rarely straighten it (mainly because I had a bad experience when I got it professional straightened at a salon and I had heat damage and I did not straighten it again until over a year later). However, I must admit, sometimes I miss seeing it straight. So, I decided to invest in a flat iron. I only wanted to get a high quality flat iron because I did not want a heat damage repeat. I was originally leaning towards a CHI flat iron because my beautician used it to straighten my hair for my college graduation and it was fabulous. But, after reading and hearing some horror stories about the CHI, I decided to look elsewhere. Then, I found the Sedu. I read tons of the reviews and decided to take the plunge. I did not even have to blow out my hair, which is a plus for me. I ended up using just a touch of the CHI silk infusion and John Frieda's Heat Defeat for protection. WOW!!! Silky, straight hair with zero frizz, which is incredible, since I live in South Florida. The best part (at least for me): absolutely NO heat damage (and I set it at 360F and I have very VERY thin strands)! I'm in love!

Awesome ItemI have used sever other flat irons, inlcuding the infamous Chi. This flat iron does a fabulous job. My hair is shiney, not dried out or frizzy on the ends. Glides through my hair with ease. I have color treated hair and many irons make the ends dried out and frizzy but not this one. Glad I stumbled across this item.
