Iron Works Well But Breaks Or Is DefectiveThe iron itself works well. The problem I have is that it breaks easily or the wiring is not made well. I've purchased 2 irons. The first one broke so I had to replace. Then the second one broke again. Seems like it's not hitting a wire and the light turns on and off so it will only turn one half to time. At $130 per iron I can't afford to keep replacing it. Have switched to a more sturdy and reliable flat iron. I never had problems with the CHI or HAI with breaking and they lasted years. Your Best Friend In The MorningIf you have wavy or curly hair and don't have a lot of time to straighten it, this straightener is your best option. My hair is medium-thin and is layered with lots of flips and curls. This straightener takes about 20 seconds to heat up which is awesome. Also, it has wider plates so you spend less time on each section of hair. It is pricey but so far worth the money. My one piece of advice is to use a good de-frizzing product or straightening balm beforehand so your hair looks good all day. Great Straightening Without DamageI am African American with thick 3c/4a hair and this flatiron makes my hair so straight that it looks like I've had a relaxer. It gets it done with one pass through my hair also..and I only have to use a medium heat setting although it can get extremely hot for those who want that. I only straighthen my hair once or twice a year and work hard to keep it healty so when I do straighten it I like it to look right yet keep it's same level of health and this does the job. Above other flatirons I've tried..this one leaves a nice shine and after using it my hair doesn't look dry or like it's had heat on it...it's full of body and silky soft. Amazing Flat Iron! In Love With It!All my Life ive been searching for the perfect Iron and it finally came to me when i was 14 i was using the revlon iron it ws horrible dried out my hair and did like half job of straighten. then i was using this iron called profashion its a decent iron but not for me then i bought the solia loved it! but i gave it to my mom and I bought this sedu iron for me!!! Best present ever i have very long curly hair so finding an iron that can tame it and make it straight was this one! keep in mind i use its a 10 miracle leave in product and serum for frizz and blow it out with my solia hair dryer and then straighten it with the sedu my hair comes out silky smooth soft weightless and perfectly straight fresh out the salon look.
