Best On The MarketI bought my Sedu in November of 2008. I still have it and have had absolutely no problems at all. It's wide-thin plate makes it easy to get right up to your scalp and do wide sections at once. Better than Chi for sure! I always make sure NOT to wrap the cord up. Leave the court out and straight. This is what will damage a flat iron for sure! I would die without my Sedu flat iron. Best On The MarketI've been straightening my hair for years and have gone through a dozen flat irons! I have never had one that is this awesome! I have thick and wavy hair, and I can get it looking great in 5-7 minutes with this flat iron. My hair never looks dry or damaged (and I use it every other day) and it's lasted me over 3 years now, which no other flat iron has done. This is by far the best one on the market!!! Best Flat Iron I've Used, Ever.I have thick, curly/wavy hair with a length that's about mid-back. It frizzes very easily when it's humid or if I air-dry it without product. I've used a few flat irons and none of them have been able to give me results that are even close to the Sedu. I've only used it a couple of times now but I absolutely love it!! It heats up really fast and it smooths out my hair as it straightens - no frizz and my hair feels silkier. I just spray a heat protectant on my hair before I use it. It also takes a lot less time to straighten my hair now compared to before. I was using a Conair Infiniti Nano Silver before. I had purchased it a few years ago after seeing it on an infomercial and I thought that one was a miracle-worker for my hair. Nope. Sedu beats it 10x over. This flat iron is lightweight and has a cord with a good length. The only thing mean thing that I could say about it is that there isn't much to hold on to (that isn't burning hot) when you want to hold the plate area of the flat iron for extra stability while straightening. I'm Pretty Sure I Created A Sedu CultI had ALL kinds of flat irons. All disappointing, including the Chi. But I bought the Sedu 4-5 yrs ago and I swear, all who have used my Sedu flat iron now own one. I think this year alone, 4 of my friends bought it. And more are waiting for a promo deal so that they could get one too. It is the most amazing flat iron. Leaves my hair so smooth and silky. I usually curl my ends with it and people get so amazed at how I was able to curl my ends with a flat iron. The iron is super reliable! 3c Curls Wanted Change For Fall..but Didn't Exactly Get ItSoooo DISAPPOINTED!! I'm a college student so 100 bucks for a flat iron is a big deal. I have thick, full, curls which I do love but I wanted a sleek look. The sedu worked fine from the mid shaft of my hair strands to the ends but DID NOT straighten my roots. My friend has a cortex I tried a couple months ago she bought for 30 bucks that worked amazingly..I will definitely be returning the sedu and getting that flat iron. I guess this iron isn't for everyone :/ (BTW I read most the reviews and pretty much did what everyone else did...washed, conditioned...even deep conditioned...blowdried with heat protectant and sectioned my hair and got to ironing)posted Oct 9, 2011Link to this post -

Amazing!!!I had a CHI straightener for three years and I must admit I believed there was no straightener that was better out there even if they were more expensive than the CHI boy was I wrong. I got the Groupon for this straightener after having done some extensive research and couldn't wait to try out since my CHI had died a few months ago. After using the SEDU this past week I will never go back to CHI. I have frizzy wavy long hair and I straightened my hair in half the time that it took me to straighten with my old CHI. The plates on the straightener don't snag my hair like my CHI did and my hair was straight all day even after going to a concert and sweating all night my hair didn't get frizzy. I would highly recommend this product because it is absolutely AMAZING!!! And who can beat the 2 year warranty and free heat pouch!! Love This Secret Weapon!!!I first purchased this Sedu as a gift for my daughter who has curly to frizzy hair. I was tired of taking her to the salon and paying high fees to straighten her hair only to last a few days. I went online to do some research, and Sedu had high reviews and ratings. After trying it on her hair and seeing the results, I was HOOKED! Best part...her hair stayed straight for a while. I went and purchased four more irons as gifts and everyone loves it. The only downside to this flat iron (if there is one) is the cord. The manufacture should really re-invent the cord and make it as a swivel cord. All-in-all, I firmely give this a TOP 5 STAR RATING!
