Revlon Perfect Heat Professional 1" Straightener

CaseyIllinoisInvest In A More Reliable Straightener!I had my Revlon straightener for five months and it worked fine for that time. I used it every day, but my hair is fine and really easy to straighten so I was only using it lightly for less than ten minutes every morning on dry hair. It really wasnt put under much stress at all! But slowly I noticed my straightener was starting to give out. The gold plating started to chip off, showing the silver surface underneath. It also started giving off a really foul smell, and whenever I turned the straightener off and set it on my desk it gave off smoke. I stopped using it because of this and the fact that it started drying out and damaging my hair. Now Im in the market for a new straightener... I would really recommend spending your money on a flat iron that will last you much longer and wont damage your hair.posted Jul 5, 2008Link to this post

ValNyYou Wont Be Sorry Trust MeThis iron is wonderful. It costs peanuts and works awesome. I dont know why it got bad reviews, I love mine and wont even consider spending the money on a more expensive iron. Does the trick on my frizzy wavy fine hair. Trust me, better to invest the money in an expensive hairdryer (blow hair as straight as you can get) and just finish the look with the iron (which is all you should be doing anyway).posted Apr 9, 2008Link to this post

KateOntario, NYHorrible ProductThis was the worst flat iron I have ever used. It didnt work when I turned it on for 20 minutes and was not even hot. And it did nothing for me or my hair. I would not reccommend this product to anyone. I followed the instructions as given and nothing worked. I even called the store I bought it from and am returning it for a different one. Dont just go by the name of the product because this Revlon product was not worth it. Get something else!posted Feb 23, 2008Link to this post

AnonymousNot A Good ProductNot a good product. I have thin wavy hair and it could not even straigthen that out. It was not getting hot enough or something. I tried several diiffrent heat settings and still the results were not good. I know you cant expect alot for $25.00 but still.posted Feb 21, 2008Link to this post

IndiaSpringfield, MaIt SucksI was very dissapointed when I tried this product. On the instructions it says to set the iron in the lowest setting when using it for the first time. For my type of hair which is fine is recommended to set it between 1-6 and when you do the iron doesnt even get hot at all. I started incresing it until it finally turned on and it heated up, when I passed it my hair got burned. Who is going to repay me for my hair being damage? No one :(posted Feb 15, 2008Link to this post

JizzlejaySinCity, NVOmg OmgOne week I took a trip with my friends and didnt bring my big old clunky iron. So my girl let me borrow hers before we went out. My hair cannot take any type of moisture or it will become a hot mess. This iron not only straightened my hair but kept it straight. We got caught in a sprinkler. I was soooo freaked out because I thought I looked liked crap. My hair wsa still shiny and straight I became addicted to it. Too bad she asked for it back. Yet I bought mine and it is the one thing I carry with me on every trip.BUY THIS!!!!!! BUY THIS!!!!!!! BUY THIS!!!!!!! YOU WONT EVER NEED ANOTHER IRON AGAIN!!!!!You can even use it on synthetic hair as long as the setting is low.posted Dec 10, 2007Link to this post
