Revlon Perfect Heat Professional 1" Straightener

AnnaHairDark BrownColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairJust Makes My Hair Slightly Less WavyThis flat iron is disappointing. I had a Revlon straightener of a different model which worked pretty well, so I trusted this brand and got another one. It does get my hair somewhat straight while I'm still using it, but after an hour or so my hair starts to get wavy again. No one even notices that I straightened my hair! Plus it's hard to clean it!
It might be good if your hair is already pretty straight and you just want to fix it up better, but for someone with wavy or curly hair, it doesn't get the job done! It is cheaper than the top brands, and it can turn off automatically if you forget to do that, but I'm saying it's not worth it.posted Jul 18, 2010Link to this post -
AnonymousMmm Its Ok...Well i had this iron for a year already. Somedays i can use it good, but most days its horrible! I mean yeeah i have ugly dry damaged thick hair, but still. It does get tooo hot for itself, and it poofs your hair really bad, and thats because i used alot of anti frizz/ heat protection products. Also the straightness doesnt last all day.posted Apr 17, 2010Link to this post

DianeFremont, Ca, United StatesIt Sucksi bought it because it was on this list. my conair one was way better. it gets hot, but too hot for itself because it will burn your hand even at the base. i have a blister from trying it after i bought it yesterday. it feels cheep and it just sucks so bad. i'm going to try to get my money back. it isn't even worth $5! i have white girl wavy hair and it took FOREVER to even get it kind of straight as i burned myself. i'm calling revlon right now. bye.posted Aug 26, 2009Link to this post

Lucy WangMissouriIt's Okay. This was my first straightener and I still have it. Ive had this straightener for about 2 years. At first, I thought this was horrible because I didnt have any straightening experience. After awhile, I knew how to correctly straighten my hair. It takes me a about 10 minutes. I have very thick and wavy hair. This Revlon straightener gets my hair straight and all but it totally destroys my hair even when I use heat protections. Also, after about 5 hours or so, my hair starts losing the straightness. It also doesnt make my hair shiny. But at least it worksposted Jul 13, 2009Link to this post

CassidyAZDo Not Buy It!!This is the worst flat iron I have EVER bought. First of all, it doesnt get hot enough. Secondly, its absolutely terrible for your hair! It completely destroyed my mine. But I guess you get what you pay for. It leaves creases and dents in your hair when curling. It snags. It pulls. The hair strands often slip out the ends when curling. And then of course, it fries your hair. If you have any common sense at all, you will not buy this piece of junk.posted Jul 6, 2009Link to this post

CarrievePlease Dont Buythis was probably the worst straightener i have had the misfortune to buy. i have very thick and frizzy hair, it doesnt work well. after im done with it, like twenty minutes later, my hair starts to get wavy, and i have to straighten it again! jeez, and the tan paint on the blades chipped off! it snags my hair and pulls it out! whatever u do, dont buy it, and dont waste your moneyposted Jun 26, 2009Link to this post
