JoanaBothell, WashingtonI Love It!!!I have had this flat iron for 1 year now and I love it. I have thick wavy hair to the middle of my back and I straighten my hair in 20 minutes. Before the Paul Mitchell Flat Iron I was buying a new and different flat iron every 4 months. I straighten my hair everyday and I needed something to do the job quick and would last. I love this iron and i recommend it to everyone. (P.S. DONT WRAP THE CORD AROUND THE STRAIGHTER)posted Jun 25, 2008Link to this post

TrishaSA, TXWorked Wonders Till It Started Smoking And Shocked Me.......Ok i was so excited when this first came out. After 1 month of a great product...smoke and sparks one day started shooting out of the cord...it shocked me. I didnt have the box anymore so i voided the warranty. They made me sound crazy at customer service like it was unheard of. But after reading several reviews I see its not just me who dealt with nasty plastic smoke smell andposted Jun 23, 2008Link to this post

NatalieGreat!!!!Ive had my Paul Mitchell for 3 years, using it everyday on my considerably frizzy wavy hair! Just the other day it wouldnt turn on =(, so I guess I just wore it out, but other than it dying it was a really good straightener that i would reccomend to anyone looking for one.posted Jun 23, 2008Link to this post

Rosie FedorovichWhat's With The Cord?Okay, I am relieved to know that I was not the only with the cord problem. Dont buy the PM, unless you want to hold the cord in place to straighten your hair. No joke, its very frustrating and annoying.. and even worse after you just blew over a hundred dollars on it. Con Air is better, seriously. What a rip off.posted Jun 9, 2008Link to this post

BrittanyMedford, OregonI Love It!!I bought this straigthner about a month & half ago and i absolutely love it. In fact its the same one my hair dresser uses! I really recommended it, i have really thick hair that is down to the middle of my back and takes me only 30 mins to straighten my hair. Aewsome product!posted May 29, 2008Link to this post

ChristinaBay City TexasIt Is So Cool..I love this flat iron. I tried the chi and it has nothing on this. I go everywhere trying to find a flat iron to do it better but so far it blows the rest away.posted May 27, 2008Link to this post

RobynTxWhat Are You Saying ?!?I have a CHI and PM...the CHI DOES NOT COMPARE!!!! SORRY... Ive had my PM for 2 years NO CHIPPING OF THE PLATES AT ALL. Please get the iron and see for yourself. Its all about how well you take care of the iron. P.S. Im a Black stylist and it works just fine on ALL hair types (fine, med & course...)posted May 21, 2008Link to this post

TanyaMemphisBeware! This was a great flat iron until my heating unit started acting up - I had to keep it turned all the way up to even work right. Now my cord started making a strange noise and tons of smoke came out. What a complete rip off!!!! I had this iron for less than a year. Im a single Mom so I really have to watch my money - my hair dresser recommended this product and I took very good care of it hoping that it would last for years. My question is if so many people are having the same problems - why is the company doing nothing about it?posted May 12, 2008Link to this post

AnonymousDoesn't LastIve been through two of these flat irons. The first time I didnt even have it for a year and the power was cutting out and the green plates turned brown from my hair. Im on my second one now and the green plates again are brown and it wont come clean. Also the green stuff is comming off. I had a friend who also had problems with the power cord. It does a nice job of getting my hair straight though. Id shop around before you purchase this.posted May 9, 2008Link to this post
