Metropolis Tourmaline Dual Voltage Travel Flat Iron

LeteriaKansas CityDisappointed!!!!I have used this product for a few weeks and found that it did not meet my expectations. I travel a lot and wanted a dual voltage flat iron. I used it at various 10-12 hours and 3-4 hours heat settings and found that it never really did a good job of straigtening out my hair.posted Apr 4, 2007Link to this post

AnonymousIt Burned Out!I took the Metropolis hair iron to Scotland recently and it burned out on one side. I bought it because it said it was dual voltage. I used an adapter but no where on the iron was a switch to change voltage like you find on hair dryers. I liked the idea it was light and could fold up. However, the blades were not so easy to retract for travel. The information book was dismal. There were 2 gray clips next to the blades that still are a mystery. I sent it back to Folica because one side no longer worked. I had the iron less than one month.posted Mar 28, 2007Link to this post

BerniceOntario(:I bought this product and I loved it; however; unless you have really coarse and hard to straighten hair I strongly suggest you not buying this because it has no temperature control. Other than that it left my hair ridiculously silky and the 10 year warranty left me drooling.posted Mar 15, 2007Link to this post

LaurenOntarioHairCurly HairGets The Job DoneI just purchased this iron and was at first skeptical because of the low price and I had never heard of this brand. Though its only 24mm in width, it gets through my curly and thicky frizzy hair in 20 minutes with excelent results. The 10 year warranty is great compared to the other irons that only offer 1 year warrantys.posted Jan 16, 2007Link to this post

JuliaPotomac, MDAwesome 10 Year GuaranteeI really like this iron. Ive been a faithful flat iron user for about 10 years now, and this is the first iron that i have come across that has a 10 year guarantee!! So if you save your receipt, youll be good to go for years. This iron gets to 400 degrees and has proven to tame my ridiculously thick, frizzy mess to straight and healthy looking hair. My only complaint is that ive had for only a year and i think it may die soon, but with a guarantee like that, you wont have to pay for it again...posted Dec 21, 2006Link to this post
