In Love With This!I live in southeast Louisiana where it is very humid. Everytime I would straighten my hair with my last flat iron, it didn't matter what straightening products I used in my hair. If I would go out at night, it was inevitable that my hair would be frizzy by the end of the night (just like with almost every other girl). My underneath hair is very frizz/kinky, the hair in the middle is wavy and semi smooth, and my outer hair is thin and almost straight. Since my hair grows out differently at different parts of my head (it even grows out different colors... weird I know), I also need a straightener that changes temperatures. With the metropolis flat iron, my hair doesn't frizz when I go outside at night without even using any products in my hair to keep it straight. This flat iron doesn't damage my hair as far as I can tell and when I straighten it, it doesn't have that burnt smell like with other flat irons. I can also straighten it with it still a bit damp and won't even have to pass it over the same strands more than once. So with the metropolis flat iron, my hair smells like my shampoo, keeps its shine, and it stays straight all day with no frizz. And that's hard to accomplish living in an environment where it's almost constantly at 100% humidity. So I hope I helped someone! :)posted Jun 10, 2010Link to this post

Awsome!!!Here I am reviewing the new Metropolis ti-ion flat iron that I bought from Folica.com. I paid $139 for it, and was always a CHI user. My Friend Has The Straightener, It's Good!My friend has this exact straightener, and she's had it for about a year now. It works really well,and gets super hot. It kept my hair straight for the entire day :) I have alot of hair, but its fairly thin and wavey. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it seems too thin, the model itself because you can only put so much hair between the plates.
