Heatherr O.Toronto, CanadaHairDark BrownCurly HairBe Warned. This is an AMAZING tool, when its working!! I've gone through several in the last 4 years(NOT KIDDING) the only reason i've not jumped ship is because it does have a 10 yr warrenty which the store I purcased from is backing up. But after the 6th and 7th one broke that was it. One didnt even turn on, another was sparking from the cord. But when it is working I LOVE it.. but its time to try something new! So think about how long you would like this to last and how often your going to be using it!
I wouldnt recomend this product for someone who straightens every day.posted Sep 25, 2010Link to this post -
YvonneHairDark BrownColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairThis Flatiron Works Well Without Damaging My Hair.I am new to flatirons, but I had already had one that damaged my hair. I like how this one heats up so quickly, has temp control, seems to protect my hair from humidity, and keeps the straigtening beyond the first day. It doesn't seem to damage my hair, although I have been diligent in using heat protector. I really like the quality of this flatiron.posted Aug 29, 2010Link to this post

TashaNot Worth The Money :(I would classify my hair as being between thin and medium- not too much of either one quality to present any dramatic hair issues. I chose this flat iron because I thought that the price would be indicative of it's performance; I was wrong. While it performs much better than a bottom of the line product, it still does not live up to any outstanding feats. When in use, the sections of selected hair must be gone over multiple times in order to obtain the desired result; I've also experienced issues concerning 'snagging'. While the product is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and aesthetically appealing, it simply is not worth the money. However, I would recommend the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron- not only is the product cheaper, it delivers superior results! One of the smoothest flat irons you will ever use!posted Aug 29, 2010Link to this post

SamanthaCanadaHairDark BrownNormal HairThick or Coarse HairWonderful!Got this straightener about four years ago and it is still working pretty good. Just recently have I been experiencing any little problems. But it has been four years, so it's expected. But I still use it often and it does a great job. Very light. I would have liked if the plates were a little wider. That has to be my only complaint about it.
I do find that I have to go over my hair a few more times now, compared to the first three years of using.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good flat iron.
Great salon quality, but still pretty affordable.posted Jul 23, 2010Link to this post -
NoraIts Great, But..This straightner is great, its durable, heats up fast, &straightnes hair pin straight. But, after a while, the plates dont allign, & so its really easy for it to snag your hair. The worst part is most people dont think its frying your hair, im sisters hair used to be soft&healthy, she used this or half a year & LITERALLY her hair is losing colo, and falling out. her split ends have plit ends. BUT DONT LET ME SCARE YOU! im just warning you to not use it EVERYDAY. (:posted May 29, 2010Link to this post

AnnonymousAmazing Flat RionI used to own a cheap Conair and it was horrible. I bought this one yesterday and it works wonders! Heats up quickly and straightens my hair until its pin straight without frying. I love it :)posted Dec 20, 2008Link to this post

SaraTexasAmazing... Works Great!I purchased this flat iron over two years ago and it still works as well as the day I received it! I have long, fine hair that is naturally curly. I used to have to blow dry my hair in sections (about 25 minutes) and then use a flat iron (about 15 minutes). With this flat iron, I am able to blow dry my hair quickly (less than 5 minutes) and use the straightener to finish it. It has cut my styling time in half! I have used my friendâs CHI before and though it works great, she usually has to purchase a new one every year. So far, I have had no problems with this Metropolis. I also LOVE that it has a 10 year warranty through Folica!posted Dec 9, 2008Link to this post
