AngelGeorgiaHairCurly HairDo Not Waste Your Money!I bought this and although my hair went from curly to almost straight and it was shiny, this flat iron really poofed my hair it looked horrble everytime. I had to blow dry, flatten, then wrap my hair to get it straight. I have naturally curly hair. Would not buy it. I just ordered a sedu so i will see how it worksposted Mar 11, 2008Link to this post

LoveiskeyOakley, CAExcellent But Bulky.I actually love the maxi glide. I have type 4c hair. Very thick, kinky, course and long. Ive had the maxi glide for about 2 years now. I just started using the flat iron and Ive found that it works better than the one with the teeth. VERY IMPORTANT: My hair gets extremely straight if I use a little bit of The End product and the Beyond straight together while my hair is wet. DONT USE TOO MUCH THOUGH, just a dime size is enough of both products. Then I blow dry my hair, then flat iron. I can not use the steam feature AT ALL. Ive tried it, never again. My hair is too course and kinky. When Im finished straighting my hair I rub 1 drop of THE END product in the palm of my hands and put all over your hair. Then style.posted Mar 9, 2008Link to this post

J T MoyerGreensboro, NC 27406Love ItMy son seen the advertisment on tv late one night two years ago and purchased it for me...The maxiglide has been such a blessing, it works wonders for my hair which is very long and very thick. My only complaint is that the cord had gotten extremely twisted. Somehow the top part of the base has broken in half so now Im looking to purchase another one, I knew I should have had a backup one.I would refer the maxiglide to anyone. It Is Great!!!!Âposted Mar 9, 2008Link to this post

NcPAHairCurly HairI Would Not Buy ItIf you are just looking for a touch up and have perfect hair then go for it. If you have curly hair this will not help it does technically straighten my hair but it poofs it out so it looks like a big A. It sucks basically now I have to end up buying some other flat iron. save yourself the hassle. It also pulls ALOT of hair out.posted Mar 6, 2008Link to this post

EshawnaGaIts Goodok this darn maxiglide is not all that after you use it for a long time. i cnt stand my arm pain after a couple of hours holding that big straightner. its too heavy and i dnt like holding it. it works sometimes but my hair get frizzy after like 2 or 3 days later. its not that bad but it aint all that. you have to put a lot of things in your hair so it wont be frizzy. and that dang thing pulls out hair. liers i cnt take the pain.posted Mar 1, 2008Link to this post

LyndseyKansasFinally! At first I didnt believe the Maxiglide would work but my mom bought it for me last christmas cause she knew I was struggling with my hair. Its very coarse and other straighteners were leaving my hair dry and damaged which caused it to break at the ends but this one actually worked. my hair is soft and straight from the root to end. My only complaint is that it breaks to easy. Mine broke about a week ago and all I did was take the plate off to clean it and it just snapped in half, no idea why either but I still think its worth getting another one.posted Feb 23, 2008Link to this post

TammyBurleson, TX 76028Love ItI got a maxiglide for christmas, and I love it. It works just like promised, but you have to follow the instructions and use it correctly. You can not use it like a straight iorn or you will pull your hair out. A little gentle pressure is all it takes, do not squeeze it tightly shut.posted Feb 21, 2008Link to this post
