EmilyNot Worth It!i have short hair and it's wavy it didn't heat up hot enough and i have to go over my hair at least 10 times for it to work. you get your money's worth though i didn't pay much and it doesn't do much. my 15 dollar flat iron from walmart worked better.posted Oct 13, 2010Link to this post

Asha O.MinneapolisHairBlackDry HairCurly HairRelaxed HairChemically Treated HairA Good Straightener For Wavy Or Mild Curls! But Not For Kinky Hairwell there are some pros and cons to this one.
Pros: it heats up fast, it straightens wavy and soft curls well, and you can curl ur hair under or flip it out. it gets to a high temp so it straightens curly hair well
cons: it gets a little too hot and it burns the hair causing damage. it doesnt get my hair perfectly straight. i am Somalian so my hair is kinky, but i used a relaxer that made my hair a little less curly. but it can never straighten my hair perfectly
all in all if u have wavy hair or mild curls then i HIGHLY reccomend this product.
p.s. use it on the highest setting. it straightens ur hair fasterposted Aug 28, 2010Link to this post -
JaydenThis Is Going Back To The Store. The $20 straightener I got from Wal-Mart did better than this! I have short, wavy hair, and because of one big wave in particular, I NEED to straighten my hair. I admit, I only put it on the second highest heat setting because I didn't want to do damage, but it sucked! It took forever to heat up and barely changed my hair. Most of the wave was still there after many times of fighting with it, and straightening it in different layers. I am definitely taking this back.posted Jun 26, 2010Link to this post

JennyIts Okay...you Get What You Pay ForMy old straightner broke about a year ago (it was ceramic) and at the time i didnt know the difference between ceramic and metal (there is a huge one metal= damages, takes a long time to straighten, dulls your hair, ceramic= shiny, straight hair in less time). If you are looking for a metal one this will work just as well as any other one you might buy. However, i reccommend you atleast get the hot tools CERAMIC because its only a dollar more. This iron does not staighten well so I just ordered the solia.posted Jun 1, 2009Link to this post

Olivia<3Staten Island, New YorkToo Long To Heat Up!!!!!ive had this straightener for about a year now.even though it isnt ceramic its pretty good. it does take a really long to heat up, im not exagerating like 2 hours and it still wont give me pin straight hair!!!! plus i have to constantly keep straightening it and if i dont long enough it will become really wavy!!! its pretty annoying. i just ordered the sedu and i hope it will be better!posted Dec 19, 2008Link to this post

AnonymousNot The Best Hair Straightner...When I used this product my hair only stayed straight for an hour before it got wavy again! My hair isnt even that wavy. I DO NOT reccomend this product to anyone with any hair type.posted Nov 4, 2008Link to this post
