Rita GargiuloDover,DEFat IronI like this product, I used to have a crimping iron from Hot Tools in the 90s and I liked it too. The only thing I am not to thrilled with is if you leave it on too long your hair, actually my hair gets a slight burnt smell to it, but overall I like it alot!!!posted Jan 28, 2008Link to this post

SarahRockland, MAHairCurly HairGreat For The Price. The straightener works great. Especially since I bought it at Walmart for only $30. I got it a few years ago and it still works great. The only thing is if you have curly hair you have to run it through your hair a few times. But defintely worth the money.posted Jan 24, 2008Link to this post

E. O'cT-Town, WashingtonIt Works, But Has A Short Life-spanThis product works to straighten your hair, and I use it almost every day, but consistently this particular model only lasts for a year or so. I have had to buy a new one each year, (dont get me wrong, I keep buying them) but keep the lifespan in mind. They are a cheap buy, but the lifespan has me wondering whether or not a nice ceramic one would damage hair less, and last longer. I am debating whether or not to rebuy this straightener (it broke again, and smells like burning plastic) or get a chi or sedu. They are pricier, but i may experiement with them to judge the lifespan.posted Jan 23, 2008Link to this post

BrandalKaneohe, HawaiiDont BuyFirst, this product isnt ceramic which means your hair is likely to be more suceptible to breaking and damage caused by the heat. I would reccommend paul mitchell flat iron which i recently just purchased. IIf you are going to buy it, do not turn the heat up high because it damaged my hair so bad that it looked burnt out and i had to spend almost 2 years growing my hair back out.use a leave in conditioner in order to restore your hairs natural moistures and prevent damageI wouldnt use this product on your hair if you have thin hair like mine, you should buy a top line product but dont use chi because the setting is to high.. paul mitchell is bestposted Jan 21, 2008Link to this post

Jackie GUtahOuch! My hair gets stuck on the sides of the metal plates and it pulls it out. The cord is really kinked because of wrapping it up for storage. The plates dont seem to glide smoothly or give you a tight grip when you are using it.posted Jan 19, 2008Link to this post

AprileIndianaExcellent Job!This is the first flat iron Ive ever bought, and fully expected it to make an unholy mess of my frizzy, babyfine, wavy hair. I have been using it several times a week for the last eight months without putting any products in my hair. The different heat settings allowed me to adjust the iron to the temperature that worked best on my hair without frying it. Three weeks ago, I got my hair cut and my hair stylist was amazed that I use a flat iron so often yet had no damage to my hair. This iron has the cheapest price with the best results. Id highly recommend it.posted Jan 10, 2008Link to this post

Maria CarbonellPanama City, FloridaGreat ProductI bought this hair straightener for my daughter when I read all the good reviews about it, and I have to agree and write my own. My daughter, who is 13 and very particular and demanding about her hair, was hard to convince to use it since she wanted a really expensive straightener that her friends had convinced her to buy. But I told her, "lets try this one, because it has so many good reviews." I said to her, that if this one would not work well, that I would buy her the more expensive one (all this time Im trying to save myself some money). Well, I have not had to buy her the more expensive ceramic one we saw at the Tallahassee mall. She is really happy with this one. It straightens her hair fast, and it stays straight all day, not like the others that we have boughtat Wal-Mart and that are better known brands (we have a collection of hair straighteners). I dont have any photos to share, but believe, me, it works.posted Jan 8, 2008Link to this post
