    I Love It Works Well
I have really thick hair and long hair and straightens well. I just got my hair cut to my shoulders and it still straightens my hair well. My sister has the same straightener and her hair is thin and kinky curls and it holds the straightness to her hair even in hot weather.

    Good But It Damages
this straightener lasted six years. and would have lasted longer if.. i didnt snap it in half lol. thats how bad it was. after six years it took like more time to heat up like 5 or 6 minutes and the hinge was getting loose so it wouldnt close right on top of the 2 irons.it made my hair shiny and super straight! but it did soooo much damage to my hair even with a heat protector since its only gold plated and gold plates are known for snagging and leaving hot spots. it doess snag owwie! but itss ok if your hair is so thick that it doesnt get damaged!

Good...for A Non Ceramic Standard Cheap Iron
I got it five years ago...was the biggest hit with everyone I knew because it definitely was way better than all the drugstore irons like Conair. This was before ceramic irons were popular and known about well, at least in my crowd. It did do a decent job straightening especially with heat protectant/ironing spray and straightening shampoo and conditioner. But you basically get what you pay for-it gets very hot and is way better than Conair or other drugstore irons. But since it is non ceramic, it gives some frizz, plus I hear it ripping my hair as I iron. It needs more touch ups the next day than with a ceramic iron.In addition, it is 2 1/4 inch-monster size plates and also the iron is clunky and heavy...not exactly easy to hold. And my friends say that theirs broke. Mine still works after five years but that is probably because I didnt use it frequently. Bottom line is you get what you pay for-it is way more effective than Conair or the other cheap brands. But it doesnt work as well as a ceramic, plus has the cons of a non ceramic such as frizz, damage, less holding power and is kind of clunky. You get what you pay for.

    Its Ok..
Ive had this straightner for a little less then a year now.. Its NOT the best. For my friend, one plate totally stoped working (she has the same one as me). and for myself, I will put it to a heat setting and then sometimes the heat just drops. Say you put it on 200 it will just randomly drop to 100. So I end up having to put it down and wait for it to heat up again! Plus, on the side of the straightner, there is like paint or something that is comming off and like melting from the heat. I would deff recomend the Solia. Thats the next straightner im going to buy and it seems to work wonders! =p type "solia" in the search box and see for yourself!!

Ps- From Laura It Dosnt Protect Your Hair From Humidity!
PS- Whenever I use this straightner it will straighten my hair but AS SOON as I go OUTSIDE it starts to curl again! NO LIE! its soo annoying! No matter what fizz/humidity stuff I put in my hair, this straightner just seems to fry it away. TRUST ME this isnt the best straightner out there.

    Love It!!!
I absolutely love this hair iron. It totally transforms my hair from super curly to sleek and shiny without the use of a hairdryer or hair products. I totally recommend it!
