Hot Tools Professional Flat Iron

GinaFloridaTerrible...I work at Trade Secret (part of Regis) and every time I have ever sold one of these its been returned for a Chi. The Chi also has a lifetime warranty. So its like only buying a flat iron once. Im about to open three of my own salons and I know that all ill be using are the Chi Nano flat irons! Never Hot Tools.posted Jun 2, 2006Link to this post

LilyBig Tool For Small PriceThis is my third time purchase this product, and its the best out there. I suggest if you have very curly or coarse hair. straighten small portion of the hair, and youll get extremely silky straighten hair.posted Jun 1, 2006Link to this post

AngieOntario, Canada4 Years Later...Ive had this flat iron for 4 years and it has never let me down!! Until recently, the light goes out which means it goes off. I have tied an elastic band around the handles and now it works again. I would recommend this product to anyone! But I must say, after hearing everyone rave about the Sedu (even though I already know this one is great) Im tempted to buy a Sedu. Well see, I have to figure out how to purchase it from Canada. :o)posted May 30, 2006Link to this post

LizzieBoulder, COGreat ValueFor the price, this one works just fine. Ive had Hot Tools for about three years and it hasnt broken or anything, I use it about once a week and it gives good results, not as good as a chi, but for the price, its effective!posted May 18, 2006Link to this post

CandyHouston, TXWorks GreatJUST BOUGHT THIS IRON. IVE USED THE SOLANO ONE BEFORE AND THIS PRODUCES BETTER RESULTS. IT LEAVES MY VERY THICK CURLY HAIR LOOKING SOFT AND SHINY. SOLANO WOULD DRY OUT MY ENDS! ALSO A BARGAIN AT THIS PRICE CONSIDERING I PAID $90 FOR THE SOLANO!posted May 10, 2006Link to this post

AliSouthampton, NYI Love It!I had this flat iron for almost 3 years, it was amazing. My hair was flat and straight, I was so happy with it! At one point, it just stopped working, the light flickered on, but both plates wouldnt get hot. I guess that is what you get after 3 years. I am def. going to buy it again!posted Apr 29, 2006Link to this post

LalalaNot Too Goodthis was the first straightener i had ever gotten, and i loved it... but about 4 months after i got it, it stopped working, i would pound on it, until the light came back on, but it would only heat for a minute then it totally cut out... i ended up buying the same straightener again, and about 5 months later, the same thing happened. The only way i would recommend this product, is if you plan on just trying it out, for the cheep price, and invest in a better one in the future.posted Apr 17, 2006Link to this post

KatieNew YorkGreat Iron For The PriceI bought this iron about a year ago, and it still works pretty well. I use it every day. Its great for the price and much better than Conair. Right now Ive got short, layered hair (straightens in 10 minutes) but it also worked well when my hair was longer. Im looking for a new one, though, because its built up some strange rust-like residue on the plates. Overall, its good for the price.posted Apr 16, 2006Link to this post

TheresaWorks Great!Ive had my Hot tools straightener since September 2005, that would be 7 months. Mine works as good as it did when I first got it. I dont see how everyones breaks so quickly. It still heats up great, and it makes my hair very straight. I use it every-other day for about 30 minutes, and my hair always comes out perfect. I dont have curly hair, but i have wavy, thick, & long hair. Ive done my friends hair which is extremely curly, when it was wet, and it worked pretty good, but not perfect. My suggestion is if you have very curly hair to blow it out, and then use this straightener. I think its worth it, its works quit well, and it very affordable.posted Apr 11, 2006Link to this post
