LaurenBolton, Ontario, CanadaYou Get What You Pay ForI have this one although I didnt buy it off this site. It fell on the ground and the plastic parts broke but it still works. It worked decently well but it broke easily. It straightens your hair well for the price. If you need something cheap and good this oens for you, but be careful with it, turn it off right after you use and put it away so u dont break it. My hair is very curly and frizzy. I use smoothing serum, heat styling spray and straightening creme with this straightener.posted Aug 22, 2006Link to this post

VennilaA Quick FixThe Hot Tools flat iron works well for the first 6 months-year depending on how much you use it. By the end of that time though, you will notice intense damage to your hair, no matter how well you try to take care of it. Your gets caught on the ends and breaks a lot, it takes a long time and the heat doesnt stay for more than 45 minutes. I bought mine from this site last year and until now its been alright, but now I think its time to move on and get a Sedu. With Hot Tools you get what you pay for, no less and no more.posted Aug 20, 2006Link to this post

SamNew JerseyUps And Downs With Hot Toolsthis hot tools straightener was the first i ever had. i have very thick and curly mixed hair, and it did the job okay and quickly so i liked it. then i noticed that it not only made my hair straight, but friend it as well. even when i used a heat protector on my hair. eventually it started snagging my ends and breaking them. my hair looked worse than ever. after 6 months or so it stopped working. it was cheap enough that i didnt mind replacing it. so i did.i have since been through about 4.hopefully a sedu will work nicely for me.posted Aug 11, 2006Link to this post

LisaRochester, NYGreat ProductMy ceramic flat iron recently broke (after 1 1/2 years) I spent $80+ on it and my hair would not stay frizz free with it. I decided to try HOT TOOLS flat iron after reading comments posted here. I was skeptical because it was so cheap. However, it is a fantastic product. I live in a summer climate that is very humid and usually dont even attempt to straighten my hair. With this product-I am able to do so without it looking like a frizzy mess a couple of hours later.posted Aug 1, 2006Link to this post
