Holly In FloridaI Love ItAbout 4 years ago I purchased this flat iron from my salon for $55.00. I have used it almost every single day for the past four years and loved it! The power cord started to bend so the power would go on and off, I love this iron so much that I would prop it up and bend it just to make it work. My salon now sells it for $65. Since you can find anything on line, I decided to look for it and found it on your website. I ordered it on sale for $14.95!! And got a free pouch!! It came in just days and the power cord is improved!! It is the best flat iron Ive ever used. I live in Florida where we have heavy humidity and when I use the flat iron the humidity doesnt frizz my hair. Theres nothing like it. I love it. And Ill continue to shop with Folica.com!posted Dec 27, 2006Link to this post

AndreaScarsdale, N.Y.Great Price For How Hot It Gets!I bought this straightener about 5 years ago at a salon and my hairstylist used this one. I paid about $60 for it at the time. It still works very well and gets super hot! Keeps your hair straight in humid and rainy weather. (My hair is naturally fairly staight, to slight curl). This is a great flat iron for the price. I can believe it costs so little now. Down side might be it can damage your hair due to the metal plates, plus side is it has 10 settings and it does not take long to heat up.posted Dec 8, 2006Link to this post

BeaDisappointed With Hot Tools Professional Flat IronI have other hot tools products that I am pleased with and thought Id try the flat iron, but it didnt do the job at all. I have thick coarse kinky hair and the flat iron virtually did nothing to straigten my hair. I ended up purchasing a chi which I like alot. If you want a quality flat iron bite the bullet and spend the extra money for a chi or sedu.posted Dec 8, 2006Link to this post

AnonymousConnecticutFor Thick Hair, This Is The OneI got my hair done at a salon where they straightened my hair with this straightener. My hair is very thick and wild. Within 20 minutes, my hair was perfectly straight and felt great. If you are looking for a straightener to also make your hair feel thinner, go with hot tools.posted Dec 4, 2006Link to this post

LaurynNJNot-so-flat Ironi know everyone has been raving about Hot Tools Professional flat iron in some other reviews, but ive been using this product for about a year, and I honestly have to say that it was just okay, nothing great. My thick curls took a very long time to straighten with this product and i had to keep going over each section until it was really straight, which damaged and fryed my hair. Sometimes i would only have time to do half of my head, and then i looked ridiculous! and unlike some other flat irons, its no match for humidity, and it doesnt keep the hair straight for a long time. It also has these weird roller-type things in it which snag my hair :( id always end up with bumps, even after going over a scetion many times. i had my hair done by a professional last week and she used a ceramic straightener, which left my hair silky smooth, unlike this one which left it dry and stringy. Maybe splurging on a high-quality flat iron will help my hair straighten :)posted Nov 14, 2006Link to this post
