    Good Temperature Settings
My friend has been using this straightener for quite some time and then gave it to me. I was very happy because it really beats the straightener that I had before. I have had it for two years now and it works fine for me.I straighten my hair about everyday except for the weekends and love the fact that it has temperature settings. I only use from 4-6 and use the CHI 44 Iron Guard spray and many conditiioners/shampoos to help keep my hair healthy. It might not be as good as CHI staighteners but it works well.

    Does Not Work!!!
My daughters purchased the Hot Tools Ceramic Iron a week ago as a Christmas present for me. We are extreamly disapointed as it DOES NOT HEAT UP AT ALL. What a rip off, my regular curling iron I purchased at walgreens works way better. The sad part is the salon where it was purchased highly recommended the item.

    Going To Return It
Spent $85 on it from a local Aveda salon (who recommended it). Not any better than the ones you could buy at Walmart. I had an expensive ($135) one I left behind on vacation so I know the difference in heating and handling. Dont buy it--even spending $30 or $40 on it is still a waste of money.

    Damaged My Hair Badly
I bought this (Hot Tools)Iron @ a local salon. It costed me around $54.00. I figured because of its known name and price it had to be good. I WAS WRONG!!!!! The first couple of times I started to use it my hair was so FLAT! I continued to use it at a low temperature. Weeks went by and my hair is fried and flat ( I had to cut off like 1 1/2 inches off)!!!!!!! Im spending more money on moisturizing treatment then it was worth. Im really upset. I stop using it and stared using the walmart the "Remington-Wet 2 Dry" that I used prior to Hot Tools. I recommend noone to buy it. Its helping my hair look healthier....

    Horrible
MY hair isnt very curly but it def. is not straight, after leaving my wet2straight in australia i bought this onee [cost me 70 bucks at ulta] and it SUCKS. it doesnt straighten fast, the heat isnt hot, it doesnt straight the ends of my hair and its just all around bad.i cant tell my dad that its horrible cuz he spent 70 bucks on it...i HAVE toi get a new straightener though...my hair is frizzy, doesnt stay straight overnight and by the end of school day its super frizzy knotty and wavy. i HATE it. DONT BUY it...

    Great Brand
My daughter tried this brand at camp, and persuaded me that we needed to replace our flat iron with a Hot Tools flat iron. She wore me down - and she was right! This iron straightens her very thick frizzy hair - FAST! (We threw out the old flat iron!)
