ColleenHairBlondeOily HairFine or Thin HairLastsI've had this straightener for over 3 years now. When I bought it I figured it would crap out on me in a few months, but I got it because it was much cheaper than the CHI. My hair is pretty straight, so I rarely use it to straighten my hair. When I do, it comes out just ok. I'd prefer it to be silkier and last longer. I have used it to curl my hair hundreds of times and I love it for that. My only complaint is that my hair is horribly damaged, but this is probably because I'm always to lazy to put a protecting product in it before I use it. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the product for the price because it has been quite a trooper and lasted me so long.posted Nov 18, 2010Link to this post

SaraiMemphis,TNHairBlackThick or Coarse HairRelaxed HairHot ToolThis is a good flat iron,I had one before but my mom ruined it :-( lol.Anyhow, if you're trying to go natural like me then you will have to do more steps to get the straight look. On my relaxed ends, the iron made my hair look gorgeous and shiny and very soft.Overall,it's a very good flatiron but it probably won't work well on your hair if you're 100% completely natural(unless you're using a blow drying comb like I do now). This is just MY opinion on the comb,it probably works better for other people.posted Oct 4, 2010Link to this post

Noemis RuizGood ProductI've had this flat iron for over 6 years and now is when its messing up. One part of the flat iron itself isn't working...it still does a good job but of course it would work better if both of them worked lol. I'm thinking of buying this same one again because for 40 bux and its last me more than 6 years...I think it's well worth it :-)posted Mar 10, 2010Link to this post

KathyNew JerseyI have had this for 2 years. It straightened my hair yes to get it straight but how long did it take 1 hour plus. And some parts are still wavy! The heat wore down it's not hot anymore. When I look in the mirror around lunch its frizzy and it looks horribleposted Feb 24, 2010Link to this post

I have like Fine hair not thin but not too thick. i have to go over my hair like 3 times for it to be some what okay. i like my hair Pin straight to. this doesnt damage hair alot i like that about it but the results of it arnt as great as i thought. so i would buy a better quality because trust me it will be worth it.posted Nov 13, 2009Link to this post

AlanaDont Waste Your Money!i bought this iron about 3 months ago. i am not satisfied at all. this is the second flat iron i've had. The first one was a cheap $20 conair one and honestly, the conair worked WAYYY better then this. the results do not last! i dont even have too curly hair! the ends of my hair flip up after about 10 minutes and this doesnt do a good job getting rid of frizz. all in all, this flat iron is a waste of money, invest in a better one.posted Oct 17, 2009Link to this post

DejaOkIve had this flat iron for two years and while i had it did the things i wanted it to it straightend my hair pretty good and i even used it to curl my hair although the curls only lasted a few hours i was satified. I started to become unsatified when my iron started rusting and smelling a bit after 1 and 1/2 years then about after two years i noticed my hair was not straightening well so i felt the plates and the bottom one was not hot at all like the top one so i could no longer use it :-( but while it worked it heated up good and fast and got really hot.posted Aug 1, 2009Link to this post
