    Its Ok
It straightens your hair nicely, but after a day(or hour) at school, the back(and front) sometimes gets wavy. Its great for me because I only straighten my hair like once a month, not everyday like some others. Mine didnt brake because I barely use it. Do not buy this if you plan on straightening your hair DAILY.

    Good For Wavy Hair
I got this for christmas, and it worked great. I have wavy hair so it didnt take too long. However, my only complaint is it broke in 2 or 3 months and for the price that was rediculous. Also, if you get it, I would recomend buying a heat glide or protectant for your hair so it wont get too damaged.

    Wow..i Guess
i bought this straighener as my first one.it worked great for awhile but i still took me about 2hrs to straighten my hair. My hiar is culry and wavy and frizzy. i would wear it down but, the sides of my hair are completely straight! i hate it. so my mom bought me it. i loved it at firest but it seemed to be cooling down after every time i used it. One day i woke up ( on a picture day) and it wounldnt heat up. after about an hour it bearly got even warm! i was so mad. i think it worked bad and i woulndnt reccomand this to anyone with wavy or frizzy hair. IT TOOK FOREVER TO STARIGHTEN!!!! >:(

    Sorry But No
Lets see, I got this for christmas, I used it a few times and it worked pretty okay. First time GREAAAT. now, my hair curls and frizzes after I do it. I have to spend an hour and a half on my hair, just straightening it if I want it to not be AS bad. I would not reccomend this to anyone who has curly frizzy hair. wavy hair, sure. But, from reading these other reviews, apparently it dies. So, I guess not. Mine hasnt but when it does, Ill be sure to get rid of it for a Chi. My friend has one of those and I used it one night after I had made my hair super frizzy with the blow dryer as a joke, and it made my hair perfect. Not a single curl, and the next day everyone complimented my hair. Im kind of disappointed in Hot Tools. I used to hear such good things about their products, but now I know.

    Ok But Broke
I had this flat iron for about maybe 5 months..i have fairly thick, but not terribly, and wavy hair. It straightened my hair very nicely for the price but one day, it just completly abruptly stopped working. Like everyone seems to be saying, the light will stay on, but neither of the plates heats up! I would reccomend this lower-priced straightener to anyone who would use it not as often as every day but still needs something that will do the job..but not for long!

This product completely stopped working only a few months after I got it. It wasnt even that good when it worked. I was thoroughly dissapointed.

    Stopped Heating
Ive been using the Hot Tools Professional Ceramic iron for a couple of months and it was working fine. Now only one of the two irons gets hot, and it takes me much more time to straighten my hair. I shouldve paid an extra 40 or 50 dollars for the Chi. Everybody I know that has it have no complaints.

    Flat Iron
I bought this flat iron less than a year ago. Since Id never used one before, I was very pleased with the results. However, just recently the ceramic coating on the plates started coming off, and using it without the coating really damages your hair, as well as not being able to straighten like it did before. I guess once the ceramic peels off the iron is worthless. I had to stop using it and purchase another, higher quality one. If I would have known, I would have just bought a nicer one in the first place...you get what you pay for.
