Hot Tools Ceramic Flat Iron (1")

Deb GBaltimore, MarylnadGreat Product And Outstanding ServiceI purchased two Hot Tools Ceramic Flat irons (1 1/2) for my two daughters for Christmas 2006. My daughters college roommate recommended the Hot Tools product. She stated that it was reasonably priced, but worked great. Since I had two flat irons to purchase along with other presents, I didnt want to spend a fortune, but wanted good quality and reliable service. Needless to say, both of my daughters love this flat iron. They say its the perfect width for their long hair, and it does a great job of straightening their hair. One of my daughters has natural curly hair; and when she uses this flat iron, her hair comes out straight. Exactly the way she wants it. Both girls indicated that they would recommend this product for anyone to buy. Folicas website provided ratings and reviews for all flat irons which helped in the selection process. The items were shipped immediately including free shipping. I would recommend Folica for their reliable and immediate service, and Hot Tools as an excellent hot iron for a reasonable price.posted Jan 19, 2007Link to this post

KristyLumberton, NCHairNormal HairGreat ProductThis flat iron works just as well as the more expensive ones!!! It is a great and inexpensive tool to have. I am not sure how well it owrks on more coarse or thick hair but I have average hair and it straightens it like a pro!!! I have had this type of flat iron for almost 2 years and it is awesome and still works just as well as it did the first day i used it!!! I would recommend this product to anyone.posted Jan 3, 2007Link to this post

Ren HockettSilverdale, WANot GoodI am not happy with this product. This is my 2nd Hot Tools Flat Iron where the heating element has broke and it will not heat up enough to flatten my hair. The first one I bought 3 months ago and used it once. It didnt heat up enough and I exchanged it for another. Ive used this one 5 times and it has now gone out on me. The beauty supply store I bought the flat iron at will not exchange it again and of course I didnt save my warranty info. I will have to buy a new flat iron now and it will NOT be a Hot Tools Product.posted Nov 22, 2006Link to this post

AmberMarylandWorks Pretty Goodthe only complaints I have with this is that my hair sometimes gets stuck in the edges and its rips it out! I would ike it better if it had a comb attachment but it does get very hot, and that I do like! So overall its a pretty nice flatironposted Nov 7, 2006Link to this post

SarahBadThis straightener does not work very well. It eats your hair and badly damages it. My hair is very curly and this flat iron left it very frizzy. I do not recommend it.posted Nov 6, 2006Link to this post

CharissaWashingtonFabulous Straightener!I have had this straightener for two years and its still working great! I never end up with burnt, frizzy or damaged hair. Sometimes my hair gets caught in it, but it straightens fabulously and heats up in 90 seconds. I LOVE it! Id buy this for a friend for sure!posted Oct 25, 2006Link to this post

TerterstDont Buy It.i have went through 3 of these same straightners in 2 years ! they are horrible! the paint it chipping off, my white counter is yellow from the burns, it burns my hair so bad, and my hair smells like its burning. im deffinety buying a better flat iron. this makes my hair go straight for lik an hour and then ir will start getting curly. also, it makes my hair fall out! my sinks cloggedddd with hair from this stupid straighner and my hair used to be thick and now its thin as anything and i could never get it back to the way it was. ugh. im just saving you the money.posted Oct 18, 2006Link to this post

LaurenNew YorkWorst EverThis is just the worst flat iron ever. Doesnt get that hot, snags your hair, the hair that gets stuck in the cracks burns, hair frizzes up fast, and ceramic chips. It really doesnt do anything right dont buy it ever.posted Oct 17, 2006Link to this post
