KellyHairAuburnDry HairCurly HairThick or Coarse HairVery PleasedThis is a really good flat iron for people with thick or curly hair. With my old one I could never get my hair completely straight. I would have to go through it two or three times with the iron and even so it would still be wavy, and by the end of the day you couldn't have guessed I'd ironed it that morning.
I was blown away the first time I used this iron. It gets my hair pin straight, which I did not think was possible, and it's very easy to use. It takes a little less time than my old iron and the results are much better and last longer.
I was hesitant about buying this because it looks so bulky but do not let that put you off! I was amazed by how easy it is to use, and it was nowhere near as bulky as I thought it would be. The only complaint I have is that it only has one heat setting. I highly recommend this to anyone with thick, hard to manage hair.posted Mar 27, 2011Link to this post -

I bought this product because my hair dresser uses this iron on my hair and it leaves my hair feeling and looking fabolous.
I've had it for almost a month already and I must say that I love this product. It's been the best iron I've ever owned. I also own the solia and the gama is way better. The little comb that comes with it has helped me a lot, I feel like it does less damage to my hair and combs through it smoothly. At first it's a little hard to get use to it feels heavy but once you get the hang of it it's so worth it.posted Mar 16, 2011Link to this post -

AmandaWhite Bear Lake, MNHairBlondeColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairCouldn't Be HappierI was in a panic after my cheapo Conair died and I found they no longer make it with the comb attachment. I have a professional grade round iron and it has been worth the money so I purchased this based on the reviews. I can't even say how impressed I am and how sad I am I used that other iron for years. The plates are so smooth, it gets super hot and evenly hot and my hair is so shiny. I would never hesitate to spend money on a flat iron again and I would definitely by this iron again.posted Feb 4, 2011Link to this post

PamBloomington, ILHairMedium BrownNormal HairCurly HairRelaxed HairChemically Treated HairWho Designed This?First of all the scissors design is awkward. Second, the comb tines are so close together you literally cannot pull it through your hair without ripping out your hair. Whey does every flat iron with a comb attachment have to be scissors design, and al it takes is one tester to figure out this thing will never slide through hair. My hair isn't very thick and its layered so it shouldn't be that difficult.posted Feb 4, 2011Link to this post

Seriously.I have super thick, super curly, past shoulder length hair and I was able to straighten it completely in the amount of time it took my husband to play three songs on Rock Band. MillieHairDark BrownDry HairChemically Treated HairLoving My Flat Iron.Ok, so for a long time I have been looking for the perfect flat iron, i finally found it. When I purchase from Folica. Is similar to one my daughter has. I love it it makes my hair so straight and smooth. The best thing is I'm not frying my hair like I was doing with my other flat iron. Having the comb on it is very important.
This a great product. Worth every penny.
Thank you.posted Nov 11, 2010Link to this post -
MelissaGreenville, ScLasted Me 8 YearsThis was my very first flat iron, i got it when i was in the 7th grade. I am now a junior in college and it recently stopped working. But it lasted so long and it was by far the best flat iron i have ever used. I just ordered a new one because i couldn't make myself try another brand when they one worked so amazingly well.posted Oct 11, 2010Link to this post

GinaI Love This Product! This flat iron is the best! I can straighten my hair in less than 15 minutes, and it looks very shiny! For being a big iron it's fairly light. I love it!posted Feb 11, 2010Link to this post

CindyHouston Texas USAGood To Straighten If Can You Can Manage Clamp Handle. This flat iron does a great job straightening. One problem I had was getting it right against the root area. As you can see in the picture of this flat iron, the thickness of the frame of this iron, made it difficult to bump it close to your root area but this is where the free mini iron came in handy. The second problem I had with this iron was the clamp handle style. I have small hands with short fingers so, it was difficult to squeeze the handles together without wanting to drop it. It took me a while to do my hair but was worth the time. I ended up returning it to Folica on a Saturday and was refunded my money by Monday! Folica has the best customer service.posted Feb 8, 2010Link to this post
