KatieKinston, NCFhi Is The BestAll my friends have owned all kinds of flat irons, while I got a FHI. My FHI has out lasted all of their CHIs and done great things for my hair. I dye my hair a lot so I constantly need tools that wont do to much damage and the FHI has not. And I have the same FHI for 5 years now, most flat irons cant even make it past 1 year for someone.posted Mar 31, 2009Link to this post

CherryCALIFORNIAI Love My FhiTrust me you should invest in a FHI iron it was the best thing I ever did. I also have a CHI however I cant change the temp on it and after I heard all the wonderful things about the FHI iron I bought one and I must say LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! Just make sure you get the one where you can change the temp very important!!!posted Mar 18, 2009Link to this post

MakebaGreat...So far so good. I bought this flat iron a couple weeks ago (from another site) and tried it out a few times and so far Im loving it. It heats up in seconds, retains the selected temp setting and straightens really well from roots to ends.posted Feb 2, 2009Link to this post

FranIllinoisHairCurly HairAwesome For Coarse Curly HairI tried 3 others before settling on this one - my hair is very thick, coarse and curly. The others pulled my hair and made it puffy and dry looking (and feeling!). This is the iron my stylist uses, and I bought it based on her recommendation. After the 1st try I got my hair to look and feel (nearly) as good as my stylist did! Fantastic product.posted Jan 2, 2009Link to this post

EllePhiladelphia, PAThe Best Flat IronI have natural hair and was disappointed with the flat iron I had. It is a little difficult to find a flat iron that will straighten African American natural hair. I went on line and came across a Youtube video that said the FHI flat iron was the BEST!!!. It was compared to the CHI and FHI got the best results. I researched a couple of irons before finally making my decision to get the FHI. The FHI official website was great at explaining the difference between the FHI and other irons. Needless to say, I am sooooo happy. My hair has never looked better.posted Dec 3, 2008Link to this post

LindaSouth Bend, IndianaMy Second OneI love this flat iron. I had a Technique FHI, but my cat chewed through the wire!! I had tried other brands after that, like the Babyliss, which is pretty good. But this FHI that I just purchased, the one above, is the best Ive ever used. My hair is very coarse with natural wavy and curl. Im absolutely obsessed about my hair being totally flat and shinny. Im 61 years old and I like to look as good as I can, and with this FHI flat iron, it is totally possible. I teach, and the students are always complimenting me on my hair. Love it!posted Nov 1, 2008Link to this post

BethOklahomaHellowell i usually dont write reviews but after searching for a new flat iron, i thought the FHI would be a great choice. I have owned the CHI for awhile and it did fine but made my hair dry. I got the FHI thinking that it would make my hair silky straight, but it just made it poufy!! So, needless to say i will be returning it!!posted Sep 14, 2008Link to this post

Fhi FanSouthern CAHairCurly HairOne Of The Best I Have UsedI have purchased several ceramic flatirons for my non-relaxed African-American hair. At first I was wary of the cost but have to say that it is one of the best I have used. The overall effect, smoothness, moisture content, retention of my haircolor are preserved by this iron. I recommend it highly. My purchase from Folica was pleasant: customer service was always helpful and the product arrived on time. I was not impressed with the free heat mat (cheap felt)that came with the FHI; there are much better ones available. I do not trust this mat to guard my expensive purchase. Be sure to use this iron with heat protection. For people who complain that this iron is not good for curly hair, their technique and products are not up to par. Better technique and lower temperature do the trick.posted Sep 5, 2008Link to this post
