    I'm A Believer
I received this product as a gift from a friend recently and I didn't know what to make of it. One side of it is like a regular flat iron and the other side is like a pillow covered in fabric. The fabric side doesn't get hot. I was told the product will give me a more natural look, which is exactly what I wanted, since I really am not a fan of the pin-straight style.

I've been using the product for a few weeks now and I LOVE IT. It gets plenty hot but I can still get super close to my roots since the fabric is not hot at all. This is also perfect for the "baby" hairs in the front. It makes my hair really shiny and it doesn't feel like it's frying my hair (which is a problem I've had in the past with other irons). I agree with the other reviewer that it takes a bit longer to straighten than other irons, but it's well worth the little extra time.

I'm not sure if the product is for everyone, especially people who like their hair flatter or pin-straight, but for me it's perfect.

    More Volume, As Promised
I had a chance to get a dry-styling with this iron at Bloomingdale's a while back and I liked it so I purchased one. it's really a different concept so it took some getting used to. one side has soft fabric on it and it is not heated. the claim is that it doesn't burn the moisture out and flatten your hair. after getting the hang of it, I now use it every time I straighten my hair. It looks noticeably different than my other irons. it looks very much like a blow-dry I get from my salon and less like the stick-straight look. it also makes my hair quite shiny and my hair has some bounce to it. you can definitely tell the difference. the only issue is that it takes a bit longer to do my hair than my other irons (even though it heats up fast), but that's not a huge deal to me since it feels like my hair is healthier.

I found it important to follow the instructions and make sure the fabric side is under your hair. The ceramic side gives you shine so that side needs to be on the "outside" or surface of your hair.
