PhoenixOrange County, CAHairAuburnDry HairThick or Coarse HairMy Hair Has Never Been Like ThisI PRACTICALLY WORSHIP THIS FLAT IRON! I have extremely long, thick, coarse & sometimes dry hair. I have spent the last 4 years of my life trying to find the right products that will give me silky smooth straight hair. But forget the products, this iron makes my hair unbelievably gorgeous, i literally have never seen my hair look so good!! I HIGHLY reccomend this to anyone with any hair type. it will make your hair amazing!!! PLUS it reduces my straightening time from 45 mins to 20! I only have to pass over sections ONE time!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish i would have known about this years ago....posted Jan 3, 2012Link to this post

CharisseNCHairBlackDry HairCurly HairColor Treated HairAmazing Results!!!... Until It Died After 13 Months...Let me start this review by saying I LOVE THIS FLAT IRON. I am an African American and I have naturally curly/crinkly hair that is prone to frizziness, split ends, and dryness. I don't get relaxers, but I do dye my hair. This flat iron gave results FAR better than any salon I've been to. My hair never looked dry by the end and I all I would put in it was Chi Silk Infusion (HIGHLY recommend this as well). It revolutionized my styling process and made my hair look and feel healthier. It would blow and flow in the wind like I got relaxers, which I don't. However, after a brief 13 months of owning it, it would not cut on again. I went to blow dry and straighten my hair and the flat iron beeped and gave me an "Err" on the screen and promptly cut itself off. I was beyond upset, primarily because I didn't get the extended warranty and the 1 year manufacturer's warranty had JUST expired a mere 27 days prior. I purchased a Solia iron as a replacement, but it was NO COMPARISON!!! It claims to get up to 450 degrees, but it was no match for my curls, whereas the Croc would whip my frizzy crinkly hair into submission with ease. I'm going to bite the bullet and purchase a new one WITH the extended warranty as soon as it comes back in stock. Do yourself a favor and BUY THIS IRON ALREADY!!! <3

LoriFairfield, CAHairGreyDry HairRelaxed HairGreatI love this flat iron. It heats quickly and doesn't make my hair smell burned like my T3 does. After the third use that my ends looked healthier - they were damaged by a bad stylist who got relaxer on them six months ago. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because the outside of the iron doesn't have much protection, so I have to be careful to not burn my fingers.posted Nov 13, 2011Link to this post

NinaNYHairDark BrownCurly HairColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairDidn't Live Up To The HypeThis totally didn't live up to the hype. I read all the reviews on multiple sites and decided to give this a try. The iron looks high tech but didn't deliver. I have thick curly and this iron straigthened but the results are the my end looked dry and the straight look didn't last my ends were curling up in no time. I did half my hair with this iron and half with a babyliss - the croc didn't win. Skip it for the price - babyliss offers much better product.posted Sep 29, 2011Link to this post

LailaHairDark BrownColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairChemically Treated HairGreat Flat IronI researched flat irons and read reviews for months before I finally decided to purchase the croc 2 with infrared. I loved this flat iron. Only have to go over section of hair one time to get the desired straight hair. Your hair does feel a little softer when you turn the infrared on, but I wouldnt say it was a big difference. After about 6 months of having it, my bathroom outlet messed it up and it would only heat up to 230 degrees. And I continued using it for another year. It still flat ironed my hair wonderfully! But it fell off the bathroom counter two days ago, and I am now shopping for a new one.posted Sep 23, 2011Link to this post

SharoneMarylandHairThick or Coarse HairGreat Flat IronI loved this flatiron because it is fast and gets hotter faster. I am African American and my daughter has thick long hair that is very hard to straighten. I have the chi, its ok but her hair need more heat like when i take her to the hairdresser. She love the way it made her hair straight and bouncy. Glad I purchase this flatiron.posted Sep 7, 2011Link to this post

AmandaDallas, TxHairDark BrownCurly HairThick or Coarse HairNot Impressed... Waste Of Money, Especially Compared To Irons I've Gotten At Half The PriceAfter reading all the reviews on this website for the Croc 2 Infrared iron, I was so excited to have finally found a good flat iron that would leave my hair straight and sleek all day without burning it, so I decided to buy it in time for the new school year. I used it for about a week before deciding to return it and get my money back, because it didn't completely straighten my hair to begin with; I ended up with large waves no matter how many times I went over them (my hair was soft and controlled though, at least for about an hour max). Then throughout the day it would get even more curly and would frizz a lot, and it looked like it did when I lived in Houston, where the humidity was way too much for my curly hair to handle, and was always frizzy and wouldn't hold its style at all. I've had the Sedu and the Solia, and I'm going back to my Solia for now, because it makes my hair straighter, and stays that way all day, even in August in Texas. The Croc was a complete waste of $150, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.posted Aug 28, 2011Link to this post
