It Hurts My Hand D:I would be IN LOVE with this straightener if it didn't hurt my hand after doing so many layers. :[
I don't know what it is about this straightener that causes my hand to cramp, perhaps its bulkiness? As I am SO used to lightweight straighteners.
But that's my only complaint, other than that, it does what a straightener is supposed to do.
*Btw, I have REALLY long hair that falls past my waist-line, and I know it's not the length of my hair/the amount of time it takes me to straighten it because I've used many straighteners before that never caused me any problems.posted Oct 18, 2010Link to this post -

Burst Into Flames Omg!!!!I bought this flat iron a year ago and today it started smelling like burning. I thought maybe a hair was caught in the plate or something, and as I was inspecting it the back of it burst into flames! Luckily I unplugged it and it wasn't in my hair at the time. When my boyfriend was looking at it, he noticed a little wire at the back on the inside of the joint was completely singed and melted. Too late for warranty! Gives You Split Ands And Definitely Not Worth The Money.Okay. My honest opinion is that, this flat iron is definitely not worth the money. Only the first few weeks when I bought this flat iron it worked really good. After those few weeks, this flat iron was horrible. I would straighten my hair, then a few hours later, it would get wavy again. And, by the way, I guarantee that this flat iron will give you SO many split ends! it totally ruins your hair.it also pulls on your hair. I had this flat iron for about 10 months and I hate it. Invest in something better like the CHI or Sedu or even Solia.

Not Worth It!!!I bought the pink one (which is supposedly better than the black one) for $200 and it was horrible! my hair keeps on getting caught, it doesn't go down smooth AT ALL and curling it only works half the time. It dries out your hair and gives you split ends. My hair isn't completely straight after using it multiple times. It is NOT worth $200 at all! do not buy this!!

Gives You Split Ends!Okay, so I've had and used this straightener for about eight months now. The first few months in worked great and left my hair super straight and silky. Now, after eight months of using it, I've noticed that my hair is full of split ends and my hair is totally ruined. I've used another korean straightener before, and it never gave me split ends like this one. But, on the other hand, Corioliss straightener works, but it doesn't straighten good as it used to. I Had To Chop My Hair Off After Using Corioliss!I have had my Corioliss almost a year and it worked great for about 4 months, then started damaging my hair worse than the cheap straighteners from Wal-mart ever did. My hair was half way down my back and it would break off whenever I would touch it. I have split ends to the scalp and my bangs are so fried that pieces fall off at random without even touching them. I had to chop my hair off to my chin, even though I hate having short hair, just to get rid of some of the damage. Plus it smells like skunk when I straighten my hair and it steams when my hair is dry. It burns my hair. I thought the smell was because of my shampoo and conditioner, so I have switched at least 5 times in the last 6 months, but the skunk smell is still there. Now I am saving up for a Chi.....hopefully that will help my poor hair some. I would not recommend anyone buy this straightener unless you want your hair to be fried and falling out and breaking off. :( I am very disappointed in Corioliss!posted Jun 3, 2010Link to this post

AmazingI have always pressed my hair with a hot comb or a flat iron that goes on the stove. I asked a friend what she use to get her hair so straight cause she doesn't perm her hari either and she told me so i went and got one. it was the best 100 dollars i ever spent. I have had my flat iron for more than 4 years and i love it. My hair has been so straight people always ask me how i get my hair so straight. RipI've had my Corioliss for 4 years now and it was the best thing that ever happened to my naturally THICK curly frizzy mixed hair. i didnt think that i would ever find a tool that would work so well on my hair. Im sorry to say that after 4 long years of an unbreakable friendship she passed last week, :( im sure she would have lasted a few more years if it wasnt for all the dropping (by my child) and letting other ppl borrow her. I cant wait to recieve my new one though (c2)!!! Ill let you guys know how it goes!! xoxo Jessica
