Conair Omega Curved Plates 2" Straightener

OliviaHairLight BrownThick or Coarse HairEhI have thick hair brown hair and it is not wavy but not straight. So normally I straighten it. However, I wouldn't recommend this tool for thick hair. It doesn't turn out very straight and leaves my hair looking dry. If you have thick hair, I'd say go for a more expensive one (normally once they reach about 80 they are really good and safer for hair). If your hair is thin, this would probably work well for you.posted Dec 3, 2011Link to this post

PriyankaHairCurly HairThick or Coarse HairNot Impressed. My friend had bought this straightner on sale and was pretty happy it. She had me convinced, so I bought the same one. I had thick, wayv/curly hair and it was very difficult to straighten my hair with this. Furthermore, my hair didn't turn out smooth and shiny, it ended up with that 'pressed straight' look. Would not reccomend this product.posted Nov 25, 2011Link to this post

Allison C.NyPlates Melted Themselves!I bought this product from folica and was excited to use it. Besides being difficult to get hot, once it did the plates literallly started melting the plastic frame of the device. The burnt plastic smell was everywhere and who knows what would have happened if I used it in my hair. I know this is not a pricey tool - but come on! I shouldn't melt itself....posted Apr 17, 2011Link to this post

BethMichiganHairDark BrownNormal HairSo Happy!!!!I had bought this straightener about 4 yrs ago when they were sold in the stores around me and i loved it! A couple months ago it stopped heating up :( I searched every store and could not find another one. I'm so happy they have it here. This is by far the best I have ever owned. The ones i bought to replace it didn't even come close to getting my hair as smooth as this in a short amount of time. Love this product!!!!posted Mar 9, 2011Link to this post

MaiaHairThick or Coarse HairA Good Productthis product is ok but the only issue i have with this is that it doesnt really work on my thick hair. i mean it does but i have 2 go over my hair like 4-6 times 2 get it straight. other than that it works great!posted Apr 9, 2010Link to this post
