DawnAlmost ImpressedI purchased this Conair after learning that my hair is too thin for a titanium flat iron. (I had alot of breakage from my titanium straightener.) I have very wavy to curly hair. This is the only straightener that I have found with a 5-YEAR warranty and with a maximum temperature of 446 degrees. I was excited to find a ceramic (less damaging to the hair) straightener at this price, with the hottest temperature setting I could find. Unfortunately there are only four heat settings. At 419 degrees (3rd highest) it straightened my hair, but it wasn't as silky as I'd like it AND it left creases in my hair that I thought I noticed the first time, but wasn't confirmed until the 3rd time of use. I don't stop the iron on my hair. I constantly move it through my hair and it definitely leaves creases. BUT, maybe this iron just isn't the right kind for my hair type. I just wanted to share the info so you know what to look for.36 out of 49 shoppers thought this review was helpful.
