DezerraeHouston TexasHairCurly Hair:)i love my chi. i wouldnt know what id do without it. i live in houston and its pretty humid and all other straightners ive used, didnt withstand the heat and my hair would end up curly within minutes but not with the chi.. the chi straightens and keeps it straightned. its amazing, it gets rid of all my curls and all my frizz i dont know how it does it but im impressed, i wouldnt choose any other productposted Aug 11, 2009Link to this post

TaraPAHairCurly HairReply To "help Mee Decide."I got my chi iron for my 16th or 17th birthday and Im about to turn 21 and it still works (CHI pink iron limited edition). Im a college student, and wouldnt like to say that Im careless, but it has been dropped several times. Dropping it too hard can sometime break the plates off of it (this happened to a friends) but it has never happened to mine. I wrap the cord around it all the time when on the go. It has traveled the United States, over to Europe, the Caribbean, and Canada with me and STILL works. I too have thick curly hair and it straightens it and keeps it straight, even overnight. I definitely recommend this product! If you have questions feel free to email me for pictures! (tarayohe@mail.com) Hope this helps you decide :)posted May 11, 2009Link to this post

Gia.Help Mee Decide.yeah these reviews are really old and im pretty sure no one will reply. but i dont have a chi but i want one, so bad. my birthday is coming up in 2 months. June 24 to be exact, and this guy was talking to my mom about the wi chi or something like that, and i googled it and theres no such thing, just takes me to chi. I really dont know about that, maybe its the newest thing and google hasnt caught up yet? idk, googles pretty indie. But i have really frizzy and thick hair. About medium size. I have my cousins passed down straitener, which works good after like 5 years no joke, but it does lagg and i long for a new one so i want the chi. And so many of you are like chis not worth it use this use that, then alot of you are like i love my chi. Well i want a person who has not wrapped their cord around it, left it on longer then suppose to, and who has taken good care of it tell people with even doing this it still breaks. I used my cousins shes had hers for about 3 years and it works really good. and people i heard it has a lifetime warrenty. :] so yeahhh. please helpp..i also looked at the solia and people said its not that great.posted Apr 27, 2009Link to this post

JosieIowaGreat Product! No Problems At All!!!I have had my pink CHI for a little over 3 years, and there has been NOTHING wrong with it! :) I use it almost every day and it leaves my hair perfectly straight for the WHOLE day! I can also flip or curl my hair with it too, and it doesnt tangle or catch my hair in the straightener at all. Some people complain about their CHIs breaking or something isnt right with it, when all you have to do is take care of it. Dont drop your CHI (have never dropped mine), and dont wrap the cord around the straightener!! (its bad for the cord, it makes its life shorter)But trust me, when you are thinking about buying a straightener, go with this CHI! Its in such a cute pink and it has never let me down!!!! :)posted Mar 11, 2009Link to this post

Jenna MMilton, ON CanadaGo For The Sedu!!After I broke my second Sedu due to stepping on them (ya, um... Im a total klutz) I thought I would try a CHI since Sedus arent in Canada yet and CHIs are everywhere...I was really excited to use it, and am a flat iron expert since Ive been straightening my hair for years now. The CHI was super cute and came with a free Tote bag, which was cool, but the I was soooo dissapointed!!!!It smelled funny as it heated up, pulled and broke my hair, damaged my hair, made my hair dull and dead looking (and I ALWAYS use a protective spray) and took way longer to do what used to take me 10-15 mins with my Sedu.I ended up taking the CHI back, because for the nearly $150 CND I spent on it I felt I was ripped off.If youre reading these reviews and trying to decide between the CHI and Sedu, believe me and the over 3000 other reviewers, go with the Sedu!!! You will not be dissapointed!!!!!posted Jan 18, 2009Link to this post

SaraPretty Good... But Breaks Easily. =(I am a person with medium length hair, but it is very wavy and frizzy. i have had my chi pink straightener for almost two years now.. and it broke last week. The power button got stuck and now I cant turn it on. Also, I find that the chi catches my hair a lot, and pulls it out. It also leaves your hair looking fried. The amount of straightness, however, is really good. It makes your hair pin straight.. but another setback is that it gets very hot. The bad thing about chi straightners is that a lot of them dont have temperaure controls on them. So if you are a person with short, thin hair I would not reccomend the chi for you because of the amount of heat it would put on your hair. I just wish that my straightener wouldnt have broke.. especially if I spent $140 on it. Now, I am going to buy a sedu nano 2009 edition. It has more stars, and better reviews than the chi. So if your looking for a change, check out the sedu!! But I would highly reccomend the chi for people with thick and frizzy hair.. because it sraightens very well.posted Jan 2, 2009Link to this post

KaitlynWaterloo OntarioAmazingI have super thick, wavy hair and it used to take an hour to straighten my hair with my revlon (which i had for a year) or the 2 conairs that I had (they were absolute crap they both shut off after a year). Now, it takes 20-30 minutes to do my hair now and it lasts, and it feels and looks GREAT. Ive only had it for about a week but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! I coloured my hair in May and when I used it on christmas and after(when i got it), people were asking me if i got my hair done (so i guess it made my colour look better). I highly recommend this product.posted Dec 30, 2008Link to this post
