QNew YorkHairDark BrownCurly HairThick or Coarse HairChemically Treated HairBest Flat Iron I've Ever Used!I have very difficult to straighten super curly hair. I've tried tons of hair straighteners including the "Instyler" & none of them have straightened my hair like the Chi (Turbo 7/10") It leaves my hair silky and SUPER straight! I've had my Chi for FOUR YEARS! & it still works like new! yeah it looks a little worn out but it still does the job! It's worth a try everyone has different hair so you can't judge until you try :) I HIGHLY recommendposted Mar 20, 2011Link to this post

JenLe Habra, CaliforniaThe Best Flat Iron EverI have been using the same iron for 7 years with regular use...and it still works wonders. I have never had any problems with it i got it since it had bearly came out... i love this product the only problem is that the ceramic plates do tend to wear out just a bit but other than that it works perfectly as if i had bearly gotten it. heats up really fast and leaves hair smooth and silky...i love this product i highly recomend it!posted May 4, 2010Link to this post

CherishDothan AlWont Turn On!!!!I bought my Turbo CHI maybe 6 to 7 months ago and yesterday it just wouldnt turn on!!!! I tried to press the reset button but nothing. I NEVER wrap the cord up it has never dropped its as good as new and nothing!! This is obviously a common thing with the Turbo CHI's cause this isnt the first reveiw you'll read like this. Besides that it worked great while it lasted....posted Mar 8, 2010Link to this post

AndreaOrlando, Fl, Usa Babyyyy. :DHairCurly HairIts Ok... For A While.ok so i didnt buy mine, someone gave it to me and they had only used it like twice. so the day i tried it, it got back to wavy/frizzy untamed hair in like 15 minutes, well that was because i didnt know how to straighten it in sections. so,that happened like 8 times. then i saw a youtube video and i finally learned how to. (like 2 weeks later) and it worked good, but it still went back to wavy, frizzy, untamed hair in like an hour. i have had this iron for like 1 year. and i dont like it at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to be a chi, its horrible. dont be fooled by the name turbo. i dont even use it anymore, i scrunch my hair now. my grandma was going on vacation the other day, and she tried it before she left, and it didnt work at all (she has really curly hair).so finally i just ordered a sedu yesterday online on folica :D and i hope it comes like saturday or something:D!! im really excited.posted May 6, 2009Link to this post

BritneyRuston, LALoved It... At FirstI was really excited about getting this chi but I found that it did not work as well as my original chi that I had given to my sister. My hair would stay straight for an hour or so and then frizz up. (but that may be attributed to the fact that I live in the most humid state in the country, Louisiana) Also, it has some sort of short in it to where the temperature gauge has to be set just right for the chi to even heat up!posted May 6, 2009Link to this post

KimBothell, WashingtonGood But BadThis is the second CHI product I have purchased. It works great but with both items a little over a year of use the GFI plug seem to die. I went to turn it on one morning and heard a pop noise, tried the reset buttons but nothing. Now what I dont think I can get buy without my flat iron but doent have the money to buy a new one every year either.posted Apr 7, 2009Link to this post

Unhappy With ChiHairCurly HairNot The BestI recently broke my flat iron and have been using my sisters Chi Turbo until my new one gets here. I have thick, wavy/curly hair, and the turbo was just not hot enough. I had to go over my hair several times to see any result. My stylist recommended the FHI, which Im glad I picked over the Chi turbo. This product does not work well with thick hair!posted Mar 5, 2009Link to this post
