Absolutely Great!I have had my CHI for over a year now. I have used chi's before and they have always worked wonderfully and lasted long!
The size and digital tempeture reader on this one is why I purchased it. I love the fact that you can actually see how hot it is and I have a lot of curly hair so I wanted a larger flat iron (1 1/2" rather than the average 1").

Works Great When It "works"The first time I used it, I loves it. It made my hair silky straight and I have really curly hair! Awesome!This is for everyone out there trying to find the right hair straightener. This Chi 1.5 turbo digital flat iron is the only flat iron you will ever need. I have had numerous flat irons and spent lots of money in a mission to find 100% satisfaction. Iam extremely happy to say I have finally reached this goal. This Chi really is worth the money.
After countless hours of research and buying cheap and name brand irons not to mention expensive, I finally found the one iron I can truly say works awesome. You literally get salon fabulous soft hair and pin straight. The truth is that a lot of irons get compared to the Chi for a reason, It works! Don't waste your time and money. Excellent ServiceI received this product in 2 days. As for the flat iron it heats up quickly. I like the fact it can add some curl to the ends, my last iron you couldn't do that. Depending on hair type it adds fulness. My hair it added fullness because I tried to put some curl in the ends. my daughter however thought it made her hair a lit straighter with no fullness at all. Chi Does Not Heat Up ProperlyI bought my chi in March 2010, here it is December 2010 9 months later and the top plate works fine still the bottom plate does not. It hardly heats up, gets warm where i am able to touch it and keep my hand on it and not get burnt. I put it on 400F because my hair is so thick. I am having such a hard time using it right now because of how thick my hair is, i went from doing my hair in 10 minutes to doing it in a half hour and that is not cool. my hair is still wavy and messy looking because it's not working properly. Now i have to wait god knows how long for a replacement through the warranty. I have to mail it back wait at least 5 days for them to respond wait for them to fix it or mail me another one and to top it all off i have to pay the shipping to return it and pay them $10.00 for a replacement. I'm not very happy. In the mean time i have to go to a store and buy something to last me weeks if not longer until i get a new one. Not happy about this, it shouldnt break 9 months after. This item is too expensive to just break like that. My old $30.00 generic flat iron lasted me 5 years and this one can't even last me a year.
