A Good Flat Iron Well Worth The Money

The Chi ceramic flat iron (turbo 2) really is a great flat iron. It really works wonders and is well worth the money. I have long and thick, coarse curly hair and it straightens my hair with ease. I was so suprised how well it worked on my difficult to straighten hair. It used to take me an hour and a half to straighten my hair with my old flat iron, and with the Chi ceramic Turbo2 it only takes me 15 to 20 minutes now. This flat iron gets really hot and stays hot the whole way through and distributes the heat evenly through my hair. I especially like how you can control the heat setting, making it hotter or cooler. It helps when you are straightening smaller and thicker pieces of hair that need a different heat setting, or are close to sensitive areas around your face and neck that the normal high setting is a bit too hot for. I think if you have long, thick or thin, wavey or curly hair, this flat iron will work geat for you. I wouldnt recomend this iron for people with short thin hair though, the width of the iron may be too big and it may put out a lil too much heat for real thin hair. I certainly would recomend this iron though to any woman with long, hard to straighten hair. Just be careful with the heat setting on this iron when it is up high though, cause it is easy to burn your fingers on the plastic tip of the iron as well as burn your scalp, neck, or fingers a lil with your own hair right after you straighten a piece with the iron. It truely does make your hair really hot on the high setting. This flat iron straightened my hair with ease and made it look so beautiful. So if you need a good flat iron, Im telling you, this one really works.

Was Awesome, But Like Everyone Elses It Broke!

This straightener is awesome, but I have read hundreds of reviews and a good lot of them say that after a while, this straightener breaks. I went to use it the other day and you have to jiggle the cord to make it work. They say dont store it with the cord wrapped up, but what do they expect? Folica doesnt add to this problem because they give you a free case that requires you to wrap the cord up to store it. Good straightener, not a great product life.

Extremely Happy!!

I am extremely happy with the 2 inch Chi straightener I purchased a month ago. I have always used Hot Tools and those straighteners took forever to straighten my long thick hair. I am also very happy with how fast Folica shipped my order! Thank you!!

Not So Great...

I bought the Chi after a friend of mine raving about hers. She has the 1" and supposedly can not live without hers. I have had a Babyliss for 5 years and seriously feel the same way about it. Unfortunately, I can not say the same about the Chi. I found that it did not close tightly enough which I was used to with the Babyliss. It does get very hot and I liked the fact that you could actually change to temperature but I really am disappointed in the closing function. Any one else have the same experience? I rate it average as the temperature feature is nice but I could not use a lesser temperature considering I can not get a tight closure. Sorry Linz!

Worth The Money

Heats up fast and works fast. My hair is soft and smooth. I have very curly hair and it is humid here in Illinois. No one would know when I use this flat iron I can achieve stick straight hair if I want, and fast.This is my second one as the first one I brought to France and it didnt like it there. So dont use overseas. Keep in the good ole US of A! Highly recommend!

Absolutely Love It!!!

It works GREAT for really thick hair! My hair is naturally curly and you would never know it after I use my 2" CHI!! I highly recommend, especially if you have thick or curly hair!!!!!!!!!

Great Straightener!

I love, love, love this straightener! It has enough heat to do the job quickly and the velvet on the outside of the iron protects your ears and scalp from getting burned.

The purchase of the 2" Chi (Turbo) was smooth and rewarding. The bonus flat iron pouch was not only a pleasant surprise but my wife has found it to be quite useful. She has naturally curly hair and has difficulty getting other cheaper irons to do the job. She loves all the compliments she receives on her new hair style. I would definitely recommend Chi and folica.com to my friends and will come here first for future hair care purchases.

Very Niiicee

The flat Iron is working very well for me. I am vry happy with my purchase and even happier with Folica.com. Found this same iron on other sites for more money and Im sure other sites would not have been able to ship this to me in 2 days. I was quite surprised overall!
