Just Realized Its Full PotentialI had this iron for over 3 yrs and had brushed it aside. Purchased the Sedu and was still only marginally happy. Even after minimizing my hair products. Picked the Jilbere up again and I'm in heaven. It's like I have a new head of hair.
Major test was: I got sick and was in bed for three days (fever, perspiring) and still had this amazingly ultra straight hair when I recovered. I hated to wash out the pretty!

Strange?My honest opinion: I think this is one of the BEST flat irons out there. && Im a hair stylist. The Chi doesnt compare to this one. So ladies if youre wanting an iron that keeps the frizz down, straighten it out FLAT & affordable than def get this one here. But dont forget to put some serum/shine/oil before straightening it as if you dont apply it.. you will dry and damage your hair.posted Jun 24, 2009Link to this post

WowThis was my first time in my life straightening my hair. I did find that the iron pulled a little bit, but that was where there were knots. If you dont want the iron the pull your hair out, use a comb and comb it really well. This iron works amazingly well though! I have wavy-medium length hair and I straightened my hair in 45 minutes. And I have never even used a straightener before! This thing is good and I HIGHLY recommend it. There is no burning smell, also. It has a light smell but its like a new smell, not a burning smell. Worth The PriceI have used this flat iron in my cosmo class and i have to say that it is just ok. theres better out there but if youre looking for something inexpensive this will do the job. it will make your hair nice and flat but it snags and pulls a lot on the ends. also the ceramic coating comes off after a while and its left all rusted. not the best but good as a first.posted May 25, 2008Link to this post -

Girls Best (2nd) FriendI have had this straightening iron for 5 or 6 years now and I use it every other day. It finally quit on me this morning but it survived a lot of abuse. Ive traveled all over with it, left the house with it on for a couple of hours(oops!), its fallen off of the bathroom couter and much more. It always heated up in less than a minute and would straighten my hair in about 5 mins.I cant say enough good stuff about it. I read a lot of reviews and some people complained that it would randomly die. All I have to say in that regaurd is that the more expensive a product is, the more they test for quality control. (i.e. Maybe Chi tests 30 out of every products where as Jilbere tests 5 or 10 out of every 100.). Therefore, if you purchased a Jilbere that quit on you, you shouldnt give up on the brand.
