This Flat Iron Has Been Good To My Ends
So many times I've used flat irons that have the shaft of my hair nice and straight, but my ends are a total fuzz ball. I'm African-American with natural hair, so adding heat to my hair is a delicate matter. But this is the first of MANY flat irons that have straightened my hair from root to tip and not dry it out. And, when humidity hits and I loose some of the straightness, it happens evenly. I've tried Solia (damaged my ends), Chi (did nothing for my ends. Shaft was straight, but ends brittle and dry), Hot n Gold (uneven heat distribution) and Conair did nothing for my texture. The only negative is the top of the iron where you sometimes need to hold to do spirals gets hot, but I manage to work around that just fine. -Signed, So happy I bought the blow dryer to boot:-)

    Just Say No!
If a company makes $150 flat irons and $35 flat irons, never assume the cheaper one will perform like an expensive one. I've owned CHI (broke quickly) and FHI (LOVED it!) so I thought I'd give a cheaper model a try. It sucks. You'd be better buying Conair. Stick with FHI, GHD, or HAI (my NEW current flat iron). I gave this one to Goodwill.

    Perfect For Shorter Hair
Most flat irons require creativity for straightening short hair. This one is superb, very HOT, small for home, travel, even throwing it in your bag. Yes, be careful when putting it close to your scalp or face, it is hot, but quick. I am very pleased with it.

Burn Your Head With This Lil Beauty
The arms are metal and conduct the heat from plates thus burning your scalp when starting at the roots.
