YayalifestyleLos Angeles, CAHairDark BrownDry HairThick or Coarse HairFun Tool That Adds Tons Of Volume! This waver was gifted to me from Folica about 3 months ago for a review/tutorial. I'm not a professional hair stylist...just enjoy playing with different styles on myself and sharing them with others on YouTube. I never used a waver before. Though intimidating at first glance, it's super easy to use once you get the jist of it. It helps me achieve gorgeous waves faster than other styling tools. I like to weave small sections throughout the barrels to get really distinguished waves, but you can also use it as a crimper to get more subtle ones. I think this will be really great for people with thin hair bc it adds tons of volume. Depending on how you style it, you can get different results. If I use hairspray, I'll get dolly-looking waves. If I use a sea salt spray, I'll end up with messy beach waves =) The only reason why I took off 1 star was because this waver didn't seem to tame my frizz and it takes about 5 minutes to heat up completely (keep in mind a lot of wavers take quite a bit of time to reach max temperature...I'm just impatient lol).posted Sep 28, 2010Link to this post

DianeDanbury, CtHairLight BrownFine or Thin HairThis Iron Makes Some Serious Waves.I love using this iron. I get the waves I want in no time. It was easy to use, and was hot enough to create natural looking waves in my thin hair.posted Aug 23, 2010Link to this post

Leigh AnnVAHairLight BrownNormal HairOily HairTakes Some Getting Use ToI've only had this waver for a couple days and only played with it twice. It heats up pretty quick and stays hot. It is a little bulky but not to the point to where its difficult to use. It is a tool that you have to get use to using. I haven't used it like the girl in the video yet, only like an old school crimper. Once I get the hang of that way, I will try that way. Over all its a good, sturdy product thats worth the price but takes some practice to get the results you want.posted Aug 18, 2010Link to this post
