Buy For Waves - Not Curl
    Ladies,

I'm sure you've all read the reviews, but I have to reiterate that this is NOT a traditional curling iron. If you want curls, buy a smaller barreled curling iron. This is a wave maker that styles hair beautifully - makes my hair look like I just left the salon and got a fabulous blowout. I have long, thick, curly hair (mid-back) that I color regularly every 4-5 weeks. When I straight-iron, it looks too severe, so I decided to try this tool to soften my look. The first time I used this, my husband (the man who notices nothing) told me he loved my hair, and I got compliments from just about everyone I encountered that day (even the grocery store clerk). I do have pretty hair, but this just makes it prettier. I was NOT looking for 'curls,' but wavy styling, so I am really satisfied with this tool. It's worth noting that I think this tool works best on longer hair. You really must have sufficient hair to wrap around the iron to let it do its job. I think it would be difficult to use on shorter hair unless the user just wanted to style the ends of the hair. I love this iron and hope you will too.

One thing to add: The first time I used this iron, I burned my cheek. It is BIG, a bit awkward (and I am a bit clumsy when I'm not paying attention - and I wasn't then, as I was distracted by my dog). It also gets VERY hot (I use heat setting 4 out of 5). Anyway, my cheek luckily is completely healed, and I still love the tool and have used it safely numerous times since then. Just be careful when using the first few times until you get used to this tool's chunky size. Regarding another reviewer's comment on the tools 'design flaw' because it rolls: Mine actually has a divot on the end that stabilizes it. Nevertheless, I think it can easily move if the cord is accidentally tugged or if it isn't put down directly onto a flat surface. It is lightweight considering its size. This makes it easier to use, but also makes it more prone to moving, since it isn't weighted down. My advice? We are all adults: Just be careful!

    Love Love Love
I was definitely not expecting much out of this since the barrel is SO big.....however, it delivers exactly what it promises! It devliers big body (volume) and wavy bounce. If you are looking for curls, this is not the tool for you. If you want that just woke up tousled Victoria Secret model look, this is exactly what you need! Happy curling!

    Blowout Without All The Hassel
I bought this for the purpose of getting a voluminous/blow-out style.

The overall result provides very loose curl or C-curls but somehow lasts all day. I don't know how but it looks better with time. Hair also looks very silky, which is a plus :)

The waver is sturdy but not heavy. I had to get used to the heavy-duty clamp but it's pretty easy to figure it out. I use the lowest heat setting which is ready in few seconds.

I don't find the curler moving around/rolling over on the table. It's an expensive curler so I always set it down carefully and never had a problem. It also travels well.

Please note: if you want real curls, you need to get a different curling iron.

    Danger! Huge Design Flaw
Who would have thought an item as simple as a curling iron would have a design flaw? This one does, and it seems to be a MAJOR one. Upon receipt of the iron I plugged it in the wall and laid it down on my bathroom counter. When it had heated I picked it up and began to use it to curl my hair. When I set it down on the counter, it immediately rolled over and onto the floor and struck my bare feet. I was not burned badly, but it got my attention. That is when I noticed the design did not include a "stand" on the barrel. And, since there is no stand on this thing, the weight of the cord will pull it over and tumble where you probably don't want it to touch. To add insult to injury, it cost me over $15.00 to send it back. No free returns from this company. I'm done here.

Haven't Purchased But Was Used On My Hair At The Salon!
This iron may seem big- but it gives you not only a nice big "Kim Kardasian curl" but when over-directing the hair it adds a ton of volume like you've had extensions added! This iron also makes your hair look super shiny! Must have!
