I totally agree with the one review...You're either an 'old school' beautician or know how to use a marcel iron. I wouldn't trade this for the spring type for anything! It truly creates a strong curl base at the root which is what most of us are looking to create. For longer hair, you need to start at the root and slowly feed in the hair loosening your tension somewhat until you get the end of the hair continuously feeding ...FABULOUS RESULTS!!

  • Instantly Hot Curling Iron 5 Star Rating
I love this curling iron even though it is expensive compared to others. It gets hot instantly. Do not put it on high the first time you use it, it may burn your hair. I want to buy another one but they are unaviailable right now. I ordered another kind but am returning it and will wait for this iorn to become available I HOPE.

I LOVE THIS CURLING IRON ..............BUT IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH PROFESSIONAL CURLERS THEN THE MARCEL TYPE OF CURLER IS NOT FOR YOU......GET THE SPRING TYPE
THIS IRON IS SLOW TO GET HOT BECAUSE IT WONT BURN YOUR HAIR ......IT GETS THE JOB DONE VERY WELL

I bought this curling iron two weeks ago. I used it twice already, Its a little confusing to use because its a marcel iron and not a spring iron. I personally don't like the way it heats, its slow to heat and the heat doesn't seem to reach a high enough temperature. It was difficult to use. Perhaps I'll leave it to the hair stylists to use.

This was the most difficult iron to use. I DON'T KNOW WHY I GOT IT.. I have curly hair and I thought I should try it out but I was wrong. I am going to exchange it because it is simply just too much.. DON'T DO IT!
