Pat L.PAHairDark BrownColor Treated HairRelaxed HairWorks Wonderfully !Best hot air straightener I've ever used. I forget where I bought this, so I'll have to order it on line because my daughters always borrow mine. They say it works better than any they've ever had. I spend a lot of time in FL where the humidity is often high so it comes in handy.posted Feb 7, 2011Link to this post

Rebecca M.HairBlondeDry HairCurly HairThick or Coarse HairChemically Treated HairShould Have Spent The $ On Something Else InsteadI purchased this when it first came out years ago. I've never had any mechanical problems with it or anything like that, but it kills your hair! I use it rarely like when I need to straighten my hair in a hurry...but STILL need to run my flat iron through it. My hair gets so frizzy no matter what product(s) I put in it. Yeah, don't get me wrong...it's ok, but I could have definitely spent the money on something better. Was not the results I was expecting at all.posted Jan 21, 2011Link to this post

HuntressWorks Well At Straightening Overly-curly Hair, But Dryer Itself Isn't DurableI've just purchased this again--which should tell you that I got very positive results with the other ones I had. It smooths your hair quite effectively--not board-straight, but it certainly does an adequate job of making hair that's naturally curly much smoother. HOWEVER I've never gotten more than a few months of use out of any of the ones I've previously purchased. I just ordered 2 (yes, TWO) today because the one I've been using failed this morning. Dead as a door nail. Yesterday, it had a weird burning smell, and didn't seem quite 'right'. I guess it was the motor burning up since it won't start at all now. It says there is a 3-year warranty on this. I only wish it lasted that long...excellent product otherwise though--that's why it's getting 4 stars from me.posted Jan 4, 2011Link to this post

NancyHairDark BrownCurly HairFine or Thin HairBest Dryer/straightener I Ever Used!I am on my second Infinity Ceramic Hair Straightener/Dryer. I bought my first one when they were first on the market 3 or so years ago. I have shoulder-length, fine, curly hair. This appliance is a miracle worker for my hair. If you follow the directions that the manufacturer supplies, and a few tips from me, I bet you will love this product too!
Wash and towel dry your hair as usual. Apply your hair product of choice, use the least amount necessary. I recommend sectioning your hair with clips as you dry, starting at the front (crown) and working back to nape of neck, then each side. I use the highest setting first to completely dry the hair at the roots (hold a few seconds on roots before combing through to the ends). I also set the comb tension at "4", the least amount of tension. You will see some "smoke" at first, but do not be alarmed! This is just the product drying off...your hair is not burning. Drying is sections keeps you from trying to dry too much hair at one time, particularly if you have medium to thicker hair. If you feel the dryer is becoming too hot while you are drying, turn it off for just a few seconds and start again. After you have done your entire head with the high setting, finish by using either the cool or low setting to "set" the finish. This dryer also lets you curl the ends by holding and twisting the dryer as comb through to the ends. It gives you lift at the roots and a very smooth finish.
Obviously, I can't say enough about this dryer. It is well worth the price and more!posted Jan 2, 2011Link to this post -
TessNew York, NyHairLight BrownDry HairCurly HairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairGreat Product! This product is great for touch-ups on days when you don't have time for anything but a quick fix, or if you get caught in the rain and need to tame unwanted frizz; I bought 1 and loved it so much that I bought 3 more of them - one for home, one for the office, one to take on vacation, and a spare! That said, because the comb is small and the product not very powerful (in terms of blow dry power), it can't really be used for drying your hair when it is soaking wet (unless you have very short hair). But it is great for the day after a full blow out and restores the style easily!posted Oct 4, 2010Link to this post

TimGreat ProductI have extremely curly thick hair and this dryer takes every bit of the kink and curl out, it also leaves a nice smooth texture and shine to my hair... It does take a little time to dry your hair, but it saves you time in the long run by not having to flat iron your hair so tediously..Recommend this product to anyone who has curly hair that wants it straightened.posted Jan 24, 2010Link to this post

LaurieOhioLove This Dryer/straightenerI have owned this product for about 2 years and I love the results it gives. My hair is semi curly and I like to wear it straight most of the time. I would recommend using a gel or spray product for heat to help protect your hair. The time you save styling your hair is remarkable!posted Nov 23, 2009Link to this post
