AdrianaHairLong HairExcellent, Saves On Time And FrustrationI have really long hair and get bouncy long lasting curls everytime. I used it on my friend who claimed her hair couldnt hold a curl, she was wrong. The results where great. The Hot Tools curling iron did an awesome job on her thick straight hair. The next day she called me and told me her curls still looked good so she went to work with her hair as is (after she had slept on it) and received compliments. To sum it all up you will get a longer barrel (great for long hair), longer cord (very useful), And most importantly they get really hot and maintain the heat through out styling, thus cutting down on styling time.posted Dec 17, 2007Link to this post

A.MontrealHairCurly HairEhhh, Okkk But Wouldnt Buy It Againwell i cant complain about how it heats up cause its quick enough and gets pretty hot, no problems there, however i find the barrel is not ceramic just coated ceramic, which i cant see lasting for long (the coating that is) when i curl my hair with it and slide the curler through my hair it feels really rough and brittle, pulling at it, so there is no way its ok for the hair, as we all know all heat damages to a certain extent but it feels as though this particular one really does a number on my hair. All in all once im done my hair looks nice, it curls well but for what cost?? curly hair with split ends is it really worth the hassle? I dont think i would buy this prouct again, if you have fairly thin straight hair i can see it being okay, but anyone with natural curls with thick hair looking for a different curl i wouldnt recommend it to you as it seems to be really drying damaging and down right painful when you slide the barrel along the hair. Reasonably priced for what it is. Remember just cause it says its ceramic may just well mean its coated and for a cheapy price chances are thats excatly what it is... Good luck :)posted Oct 29, 2007Link to this post

LaliAustin, TxDisappointed!!I bought the 1.5 barrell curling iron a few months ago. Just yesterday I accidentally dropped it from my counter and the handle (black part where the cord is) broke!! it came apart!! This was the first time I have dropped it. I am very disappointed. I previously used a revlon curling iron ($15.00) that I happened to have dropped more than a few times and lasted 2 years with out coming apart!!!posted Sep 30, 2007Link to this post

SkHot Tools Professional Ceramic Spring Curling IronThis is a good curling iron. It heats quickly (wish it would get a bit hotter, though), the spring feels sufficient (it comes with replacement springs! - a first), and the cord remains straight and un-tangled. The product is as described.posted Sep 28, 2007Link to this post

Melanie NeviusMattoon, IllinoisHairCurly HairMelanie From IllinoisI have very curly hair that tends to frizz in humid weather. I have tried many brands of curling irons and straightners inculding chi, solia,....this brand works just as well as the more expensive brands without paying the big bucks..........I highly recommend this brand in the ceramic......I have the 1-1/2 inch barrel and can use it to staighten and curl. Because the temperature can be very hot it is a good idea to use a leave in conditioner to protect the hair. My hair will hold well even in high humidity. I am very pleased....Thanks Folica for the great service and for carrying a great product.posted Sep 26, 2007Link to this post
