It Works Really WellI admit I was a bit sceptical about this iron. My hair is really thick and long, and to be honest I doubted this iron would curl it at all. In fact its so hard to curl my hair that Ive had to invest in professional curling irons. Im going on a trip and voltage is going to be an issue, so I thought I would pick up one of the cordless irons. Not only did the iron curl really well, it also straightened (not the intended use, but it works). I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. "love This Iron"I have long hair, and can never get it curled, and if I tried the curl would only last for so long, When I tried the Braun it was so amazing, I love doing my hair now, and it doesnt take that long either cause the iron heats ups so hot, that it just takes seconds for the curl to form, so your not sitting there for hours in the mirror. Great Product!I am currently in Afghanistan and the electrical outlet is 220V and my electric curler irons would get very hot (didnt have a transformer). I decided to purchase a cordless curling iron (less stress on my hair). I used a cordless curling iron when I was in high school, so I am familiar with them. I love that fact that this curling iron heats up quickly but once I am finished I can just put the cover (hard plastic) over it and not worry about a fire hazard. This product is great. One warning, this product doesnt work well if you have coarse or thick hair. Only because it is just too much work. I noticed this when my friend borrowed it but it works great for me. Best Curling IronThis is by far the best curling iron...and only curling iron I use. I have been using Brauns cordless curling irons for years. The style changes - but the product is great. The only downside is that they do stop working after a while. I have a box of old ones that dont work and cannot be fixed...but that is why I buy several at a time. Totally Different Kind Of Curling Iron,I ordered this curling iron just mostly out of curosity, I was very much surprised at the ease of use. It heats up very quickly and is easy to use. The only thing I am having trouble with is the fact that the curl falls out easily. I really think it is my hair because it has been always stubborn to curl. Works Really WellIm very pleased with the curler. As an extra bonis, I discovered it works just as well when used as a flat iron so you can curl or straighten with it. However, customers should be warned that it gets VERY hot. My only dissatisfaction is that there is no heat control. However, I go camping and electricity is unavailable. Having an appliance that doesnt rely on being plugged in is an amazing convenience. If someone buys this product they should be warned not to use the curling iron every day and to be careful not to keep the curler in your hair for more than a couple of second.posted Apr 14, 2008Link to this post
