BaByliss Pro Professional Porcelain Ceramic Curling Iron

MingHairBlackFine or Thin HairOkay But Not Worth The MoneyI had this curling iron for over a year now. The good thing about it is that it does not fry your hair and your curls come out soft. But even before I finish curling all of the hair on my head (it does not take me that long to curl my hair because I do not have a lot of hair), the other curls come out. The curls barely last for 8 hours (even with hair spray), and I end up with straight hair. You can get better results with a drugstore curling iron, but if you do not want to damage your hair this is a great curling iron.posted Dec 2, 2012Link to this post

AmyHairNormal HairColor Treated HairGreat Until The Button Stopped Working ProperlyThis curling iron gave me great curls for the short while I had it. Out of the blue the buttons stopped working correctly. I had to click the on button over 20 times before it turns on. Yeah, a bit frustrating.posted Nov 30, 2012Link to this post

LauraHairCurly HairGood EnoughIt was ok, I guess. I've used better though. After trying this one out I used the Karmin G3 Clipless and I got much softer looking curls and a lot faster too. I though Babyliss would be better as the brand is a bigger name but I guess Karmin beat them this time!posted Jun 18, 2012Link to this post

YvonneHairAuburnColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairWorks But Doesn't WorkI purchased 2 of these curling irons just before Christmas last year. One was a Christmas present for my sister. While initially both of us loved it and it worked great for us, her curling iron just stopped working a mere 6 months later. It seems like this product is unreliable and has some defects. Unfortunately, if you purchased it through this site you will have to pay to replace it with warranty. It's a realy cruddy policy if you ask me. Way to look out for your customers.posted Jun 13, 2012Link to this post

CrystalHairLight BrownThick or Coarse Hair1" Babybliss Curling Ironits ok not the best but not the worst. the tip of the curling iron does get hot even though there is a cool tip end. you can not put to much hair in the curling iron or it will not curl as long as there is a little hair it curls alright.posted Dec 5, 2011Link to this post

SabaCanadaHairDark BrownCurly HairColor Treated HairA Must-buy For Anyone Wanting A *good* Curling Iron!I chose to buy this straightener because I saw it being used by several people on youtube and I loved the results they got with it.. Just see the beautiful curls achieved by this curling iron here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCobPBIM2lU
Since I have naturally curly hair, I first blowdried it to get it straight and then started curling it with the iron. and omg.. it heats up real fast, and curls really well! I first purchased the Hot Tools Spring Curling Iron but was not pleased with it at all! It didn't curl well at all! The curl was verry loose and blah. I could actually create a better "curl" with my Solia Straightener! Anyways, when I tried this curling iron, I was soo happy with the results! It created beautiful, silky, smooth curls (probably because of the ceramic).
Overall, I loveee this curling iron and would recommend it to anyone who wants a very good curling iron which will create beautiful, perfect curls.
Love, love, love it!posted Nov 1, 2010Link to this post -
JordanSalt Lake City, UTFaulty?I bought this curling iron to replace the BaByliss one I had before and really liked (the cord wore out b/c I was wrapping it around the iron to store it, probably my fault). I have been really frustrated with my purchase because the iron has a strange power problem or something--it has a red light when its off and a green light when its on and hot, but mine constantly starts flashing both at the same time and the iron goes cold. Ive tested it in different plugs in my house and in hotel rooms, and it does it in all of them, making it very difficult to use. I wont purchase another BaByliss product now because Im worried Ill get another one like this. However, when it actually works, it is a great curling iron.posted Aug 13, 2009Link to this post
