Long-lasting Curls!I love this tool! It gives a bit tighter of a curl than I expected (it's thinner than it looks in the picture), but since I have shorter hair (about shoulder length) that actually works better than a larger barrel. The curls look very natural. Like some of the other reviewers, I have stick straight hair that loses curl very quickly. However, this wand makes the curls stay in FOREVER. I have actually curled my hair at night, slept on it and woken up and just had to tidy up literally like 3 curls. This curler is really good for shorter hair, like I said, but if your hair is longer than it may be a tighter curl than you expected/want. There is a great picture to illustrate this on one of the earliest reviews for this product. The only thing i would find wrong is that the glove is made for people with mile-long fingers. Best Curling Iron In The World!I got this curling iron today and tried it out, and absoulutely fell in love with it. The folica company made a excellent curling iron and was so kind to even add in 2 gloves so that you wouldnt burn yourself. I went outsidside to go help my dad in the backyard and it was so windy, I thought my curls were going to go flat but they stayed right in place. Wonderful!easy to use. people thought i got a roller set! i applied a bit of chi silk infusion and it took about an hour to do a full head of thick hair. i noticed that it is better on thick and long strands rather than fine, cottony strands.posted Feb 25, 2011Link to this post

Does The Job!I like this clipless iron. It does what it say's it'll do. However, my Enzo Milano leaves my hair softer. Also, I think it's weird that the Amika doesn't specify the size or temperature. Also, there's no on/off indicator light. Other than that, I like it.

Curls Delivered!At first glance I was slightly disappointed because I thought the barrel was cone shaped/tapered according to the picture and it was all the same diameter and a little smaller than expected. I did give it a try and the product definitely delivered perfect spiral curls that lasted ALL DAY...that was a feat within itself because my hair would fall flat after an hour before using other curling irons or hot rollers. The product was easy to use however I would have liked to have had two gloves rather than one. With this barrel size you will get tight curls, almost as if you had a perm. While I was pleased with the outcome I will be ordering another with a larger barrel to achieve a more relaxed curl.posted Dec 29, 2010Link to this post

I Cant Wait!!!! :dI was on youtube doing my usual everyday check to see if I had any more subscribers, when I found this video of one of my friends ( maybabytumbler ) giving a hair tutorial on how to use this curler... Well... I didnt buy one YET!!! But my other friend just got one and I asked her to do my hair with it... I LOVE ITT!!!! This curling iron is THE BOMB!!!! Worth Every Penny!!I am absolutely in love with my Amika curling iron. It creates natural looking curls that last all day in SECONDS! The wrap around method is very easy to get the hang of, so if you don't get it a first just practice and remember to BE CAREFUL! This curler does get veryyyy hot, so I would suggest wearing the glove unless you're use to wrap around curlers. The wand heats up fast and evenly and it takes me about 20 minutes to do my whole head (I have longgg thin hair). I get so many compliments from people everytime I use it and can brush my curls and play with them as much as I want and they still look amazinggg by the end of the day.I'm a cheerleader and after I cheer two basketball games my curls still look perfect.This is the only curling iron i have used that gives me curls that last for more than a few hours. I bought it in the mall for $80 and it has been worth every penny. It does very minimal to no damage to my hair. Don't worry about the curls looking too shirly temple, because you can just brush them out for a looser look. Amika Curling Ironi recently for this clipless hair curler in the mail and I love it. Be careful about additional import fees when you receive your packager though. One think that I don't like about the curling iron is that it only has a switch and you can't control the heat. It heats up really fast (takes about 30 seconds) and it makes really nice curls.

You have to try it to see if you love it or not... i recently ordered this curler and i did my long wavy hair... OH BOY! compliments over compliments... i honestly own so many of different curlers and i have to admit nothing beats this curler.. i understand for many of you its hard to use cus it has no barrel but just a wand.. but you know what once you get used to it which is probably after doing ur hair once or twice you will notice how easy it is.. i highly recommend that you wear gloves just to avoid the burn...cus the curler gets rele hot and you obviously dun want to burn ur self.... but besides the only negative thing everything is just PERFECT!... why go to the salon and waste money to do ur hair? you can use this curler and have beautiful curls for dayss!!! .... i did my whole hair once then slept with the curls ...woke up went to work...every 1 loved my HAIR :) all thanks to FOLICA and AMilka... excellent SERVICE & Gorgeous CURLS!
