Eve S.HairMedium BrownNormal HairThis Is A Burnt OutI purchased one of these and within 3 months the on/off switch began to malfunction and then the unit burnt out completely. The high level is WAY to hot and burns your hair and skin.
Folica.com replaced this wand for no cost..but the second one lasted even less than 3 months!

C. G.FloridaHairBlondeNormal HairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairLove My New Hot Air Styler BrushJust love my new hot hair brush H3000 compared to the other brand names that I used to buy at some well known big stores. I'm very happy that I found Folica on the internet, this hot air brush is sturdy, it's great.
When I got it, I thought there was a defect with the brushes as I could not see the bristles but you just have to turn the front part of the brush and the bristles come out, it's a good idea to protect them but the company should mention that on the package.posted Apr 10, 2012Link to this post -
PhuryHairDark BrownThick or Coarse HairGreat StylerMy stylist used this brush on my hair and I was blown away!!! As an African American, we don't run across hair utensils that actually work well. TammiVancouver, CANADAHairBlondeColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairSoft Curls And Easy To UseI have fine blonde, colour treated hair and was looking for a way to get some curl without using more damaging products, I LOVE this - it is easy to use, I don't have to use any other curling irons/ flat irons, my hair ends up soft, silky and lasts all day- I also have 3 little girls - and I like using it in their hair too- the bristles can retract if you twist the top - which makes it very safe to use in their hair as well. Very glad I tried it!!posted Jan 23, 2012Link to this post

Louise C.HairFine or Thin HairGets Very HotI have fine hair with a pronounced but erratic wave pattern, and I need something to just smooth out the waves and curve the ends under. I have a Conair dryer brush tool that I've had some success with, but it's too large for my now short hair, so, based on the reviews here I tried this product. The H3000 has three settings, high, low, and cool. As far as I can tell, the difference between the low and high setting is only in the air flow, because with either setting the barrel gets very hot within seconds. So, rather than smooth my hair and gently curve it, it introduces a tight curl. The cool setting unfortunately has a very high air flow, so that whatever styling I've done next to the area I'm working on is completely ruined by the wind-tunnel blast coming from the brush. (Also, this has the same problem I've found with all of these dryer brushes, in that the small size is too small and the large size is too large for medium short hair. )posted Jan 19, 2012Link to this post

Takoma K.Did Not Get Hot.This was the worst that I have ever had and I think I have purshased at least 4 in the past.
This product did not get hot. My hair was so frizzly and damp at the root.
The brisels of the bursh did not extend long to really catch my hair.posted Dec 22, 2011Link to this post -
Vincetta S.Grain Valley, MOHairMedium BrownColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairWhat A Terrific Find!!I love this hot air brush. I have very thin, limp, and completly straight hair (beaded hair). I started using Nexxus Diametress Luscious Volumizing Shampoo, only a small amount of rinse to the ends (due to making my hair too soft), a root lifter, and volumizing mouse. Now I've got "big" hair! It even stays big, thick, and curled while going out on a rainy day. I used a hot air brush many years ago, and like I read in many reviews for other hot air brushes, they don't get hot enough. Well, this gets very hot and is so easy and fast. I put up my blow dryer, curling brush, and curling iron, because I don't need them any longer.posted Dec 20, 2011Link to this post

JillPhiladelphiaHairMedium BrownDry HairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairThick or Coarse HairGreat, Quick Styling ToolI've tried several hot air brushes and the Hot Air Styler H3000 is the best by far! It seems to be well-made and versatile. I use the bigger brush on the hot setting on my thick head of fine, wavy hair to sculpt it into a medium, not quite shoulder length, smooth, sleek bob, The brush heats up right away, but it is not nearly hot enough to fry or frizz the ends or thinner top section, which has happened with other hot air brushes, alas. I use my recently purchased favorite styling tool much as prescribed. The Hot Air Styler is quick at making my damp, not wet, hair smooth, straight, shiny, and dry, with just enough volume and curl to please me. I can even use it on the front section of my hair, no bangs, to add a little lift while keeping the style and sleekness I seek, with no unwanted waves at all. The handle stays cool throughout and the tool does not roll when I set it down, which often happened with other brands. When my hair is dry and styled, I change the Hot Air Styler to the cool setting -- a first for me in a hot air brush and a real plus -- and quickly go through my hair again to add extra volume and sheen. This is my first time with this brand and I hope it will have a relatively long life. My last hot air brush, Helen of Troy, stopped working after several months and though I liked it until it died, this is a big step up. Styling with the Hot Air Styler H3000 is much easier and quicker than using a dryer and brush, which I used to dread, and I get better results. I highly recomment it!posted Dec 4, 2011Link to this post
