Never Going Back To Regular Rubberbands Again!The moni poni is one of those rare hair tools that is innovative while being incredibly simple at the same time. The physics of how it works is so simple and elegant. It does a great job of holding up my long, kinkyfine hair, though I think it would work great for all hair types. What I love most about it is how it doesn't leave a crease in my hair when I let my hair down after hours of having it in a ponytail. Great Pony Tail HolderThis is quite a unique item. Rubberized ponytail holders eventually go limp. They also leave a dent in your hair when you use them. The Moni Poni doesnt loose its shape/effectiveness over use and my hair is in good condition. The hold can be quite firm and stays in place. Awesome Product!I just receive this product. I have thin and long hair. This product is so fun and easy to use without breaking my damaged hair. Due to my hair condition, it get loose quite often but I could style pretty quickly and tight without lots of trouble unlike the bands! Ehh...I have a ton of hair, which is thick and long. Conventional elastic bands just don't do the trick for me, so I figured this product would be the perfect remedy. Ehh, I'm not so impressed. Though this product probably works perfectly on "normal" hair (hair that is thin and sleek), that wasn't quite the case with my use. I could hear the thing practically creeking & cracking as I was spinning my ponytail through. At which point, might I add, that my entire ponytail didn't even fit through. Pieces of hair at the nape of my neck were not even included in the ponytail. Then, within minutes of wearing the Moni Poni, it loosened up even more and the rest of my hair slipped out. It would be better if this product was more constrictive so it would not only accommodate thicker hair, but it would provide a better hold.posted Jan 6, 2011Link to this post

Moni Is One Classy PoniMan - I love my moni poni. Do yourself a favor and save yourself shipping - buy a dozen of these on your first order. I have chemically treated hair and even the gentle elastics pull my hair out. I was just resigned to that as being part of processing my hair but now I have an alternative. Moni poni holds up to it's promises to hold the hair securely. My hair is also quite thick and the moni poni can hold all of it in any position high pony or at the base of my neck.
