Nancy Fancy PantsVirginiaUse The I-skin Pads! The makers of Derma New sell the replacement pads in a kit that includes two pads and 75g/2.6oz Crystal resurfacing cream. . . . Works perfectly with the Gena Skin Spa Microdermabrasion System and the fit is VERY GOOD! Doesnt fall off! :) They can be purchased at Sallys for under $25. You can also go straight to their website and get 6 pads for $25 bucks . . . or search on this website for it. . .posted Nov 3, 2007Link to this post

AnonymousDo Not Buy This ProductI paid $30.00 for this at a Sally Beauty Supply store. How they can charge 200 is very shocking. All i can say is I paid too much.posted May 14, 2007Link to this post

BlondieGena And Those Pads That Fall Off!i had the same problem with the pads falling off almost immediately. (i am a licensed esthetician) the product works wonderfully, provided the pads stay adhered. while no reason was offered for the failing adhesive, the company DID send a replacement pack for all mentioned in the email. the new ones work fine. perhaps the ones in the store (purchased at sallys for MUCH less than the listed price here..i think i got the entire system for 39.99 + tax) have been there for so long the adhesive qualities of the glue were reduced. at any rate, id buy replacements directly from the manufacturer in the future!posted Mar 31, 2007Link to this post

CBest PriceI purchased this product 1.5 years ago to get rid of my callouses. I paid about 50 dollars (sale) for the same kit at Sallys Beauty Supply. It was excellent, Im a guy and use to have bad callouses, not any more. I wear sandals all the time now. If I paid about 50 dollars for this, how can they sale it for almost 200 dollars. Sick. The regular price a year ago was around 100... Id check with Sallys to see if they have the same brand still.posted Jun 27, 2006Link to this post

KimPAMe Again -- Another ProblemI had written about the pads not sticking to the head a while back. Now, I am running into the problem with the actual machine. It seems to not hold the charge. It works while plugged in, but as soon as I unplug, the tool doesnt turn on. The charger cord is too short to be able to use the system while plugged in. Im going to have to contact Gena again.posted Jun 5, 2006Link to this post

MelissaNo Refill PadsIt works fine, but it is ridiculous that they are still selling this product knowing that you cant find refill pads anywhere. I dont think they are made any longer. Ive e-mailed them asking where I can get them, I receive no response, obviously because there is no good response. I spent almost $200 on something that I could only use for three months because it ran out of pads!I would love to buy from Folica again, but will not, because I do not believe this is ethical.Shame, shame.posted May 12, 2006Link to this post

DianeLake Havasu City AZAmazing ResultsI have been using this system for almost 2 years. If used as directed, the results are astonishing! Dont expect it to make a 60 year old look and feel like a 20 year old. Be realistic. It has made my face softer, cleaner and I believe is slowing the aging process. I need a good, healthy face system living out in the Arizona sun.posted May 6, 2006Link to this post

KimPAThe Pads Don't Stick!Your skin feels nice and smooth, when the pad stays on. Otherwise, it slids off and your face is met with the plastic attachment. At first, only the foot pads stayed on... now, that doesnt even stick. I havent been able to use the system on my face and body because the pads fall off within a few seconds of use.posted Jan 25, 2006Link to this post

DeborahOhioGena MicrodrmabrasionI purchased this kit after looking at many different models. The dermabrasion machine is well built and the ac/rechargable feature is great. The problem is the sponges! The adhesive used to attach the sponges to the machine does not stick. The sponges fall off of the pad within seconds of turning the machine on. I have not been able to use it at all. Very dissapointed- for the price, this was a very low-quality part. I cant even tell you how the microdermabrasion creams worked because the pads fell off before I could use it.posted Jan 24, 2006Link to this post
