The Best Tanning Lotion Ever!!!Ive tried many self tanners and alot of them turned my very light skin orange and with streaks of color, fake bake is AWESOME!!! It leaves you a beautiful bronze tan and you pretty much make the color you want. If you want darker you apply 2 or 3 days in a row!!! Only thing i suggest is dont go to bed in white sheets, it does get on sheets but washes out easily. I wlll never again buy another brand self tanning lotion. After A Couple DaysI bought Fake Bake from Ulta for 30.00.I first took a shower shaved lufed and started to put on new that it was going to be dark next day went to the gym took shower still looked good and the same thing the second day after.By the fourth day after not useing it and showering and shaving the color started to come off like blochie like I had something wrong with my skin like on my arms near my wrists and bikini area.also i noticed I got little bumps from this stuff.When you do put it on your face it will show ALL your flowes until you take a shower or rinse it off.If you do get it on your hands use bleach that is the only way to get it off.I will go back to using my tanning bed again it isn't worth spending this money on something that doesn't work.posted Jul 19, 2011Link to this post -

Awesome! Did You Read The DirectionsI also dont understand the negativity. I says in the directions when you shower in the morning after applying before bed that the "excess" will rinse off. I love this product. I can continue to apply for a darker look using the glove each day til I get the desired color. Finally A Self Tanner That Actually Looks Like A Real 'sun' TanI've had this product for about 3 months, and sometimes its hard to find time to put on. I love having a tan, and have been a frequent tanner in tanning beds. But i am scared of the wrinkles/skin cancer. I've used other self tanners, but none really made me brown, or lasted very long.This lotion is the best self tanner I've ever used. When you first put it on it looks just like you've been away for a week long vacation. The color is very deep, and the lotion consistency is good and easy to handle. I'm not quite sure why some people are saying this washes off when you shower, maybe you aren't leaving it on long enough. I put it on before bed, and when i shower in the morning, i have the most beautiful bronze tan. I am naturally olive skinned- so i'm not really 'white/pale', but the color is so believable, just like you've been laying out in the sun for hours. When you put it on follow the instructions -exfoliate-moisturize rough patches-(ankles, knees, elbows)-and let it dry before dressing. You WON'T be disappointed! The smell isn't all that.. but it doesn't stain/or rub off on my clothes or sheets. I am going to try to use it once a week. ALSO great price compared to the $50+ tanners..plus the ones I've used in that price range didn't impress me at all. Finally a product that can keep people out of the sun and sun beds. Great Lotion!!You need to apply this lotion at night right before you go to bed. If it gets on your clothes it will come off! Make sure when you apply that you use gloves, which come with it. When you do put this lotion on your face, it will bring out your blemishes but when you take a shower the next morning it will fade. The lotion has a base in it and it will wash off when you take a shower. This lotion creates a beautiful tan and I went one time a week or so without even applying any because it lasted so long. Love The Color But......When I first started using this I loved the color. Very natural looking and no horrible smell like some tanners I have used. The only problem I have is it washes right off when you take a shower. As soon as I step in the shower it just washes away and I have a very little tan when I get out. I am still using it because I do like the color. It's just a hassle to reapply it every day.posted May 23, 2010Link to this post

Don't Understand The NegativityI just finished using this product for the first time. I honestly don't understand where all the negative reviews are coming from, as I found it very easy to apply. The color guide was extremely helpful as you can see exactly where you may have missed, etc. The product insert was very well written and precise, even giving guidance on how to apply to your hands, feet, elbows, and knees so as to avoid creasing there. The smell wasn't even as bad as people were describing, and I have an extremely sensitive nose. Yes there is a bit of a rose-ish chemical-ish smell, but it is no worse than most of the products you would apply before laying in a tanning bed. I can't imagine going out in this product without taking a shower, as some have evidently done, because it does seem to get in your pores, looking a bit gritty. But that was also explained in the documentation, and I am looking forward to seeing my freshly tanned skin tomorrow morning after I shower. If the results are as good as I expect, then I will definitely be buying this product again.posted May 21, 2010Link to this post -

Definately The Best Sunless Tanner!!After using tannning beds for 3 years I recently noticed a mole on my scalp. I'm only 18, so it scared me even though my dermatologist assured me it was nothing to worry about. Since I work at a salon, I ordered the Fake Bake Self Tanning Lotion. I've never used a sunless tanner, so I was a little skeptical. I've used it for the last 2 days and absolutely LOVE it!! I wouldn't recommend anything else. Most sunless tanners are streaky and orange, but Fake Bake isn't streaky, it's super easy to apply, and it's brown not orange! I would recommend having a good base tan, shaving before you apply, use circular motions when appying, allow plenty of time to dry (it doesn't take as long as people say), and if you want some color added to your face: mix your usual facial lotion with Fake Bake.posted May 9, 2010Link to this post
